S1 Chun I was pretty fine dealing with Gief. Especially since IALL was plus on block so you could viably make him block it and use it to break up v skill flex while still taking your turn. Season 2 Chun has to play more honest because no more anything that’s multi hit that doesn’t put her at disadvantage from a range she doesn’t wanna be in. Still shouldn’t be too difficult to deal with though. Especially 3.5 honest Gief.
Ibuki is more of an issue because she’s short ranged as hell compared to him and cant blow all her kunais just to fish damage off of him. Didn’t help that in S2 he could just lariat through bomb setups. AE he has to hold that fuuma shuriken and took more nerfs. If Ibuki does get in and he’s not sitting on super she can frame trap him and put him in standing reset mix up/pressure. Arguably easier for her to be close to Gief in V than in IV.
As for SFIV…dunno how you were having an easy time with Ibuki vs Gief. Ibuki only has tsumuji and a couple buttons to fish from a range that isn’t really optimal for her. While Gief can throw big ass buttons all day and one german suplex towards the corner = get rekt time. In V he doesn’t have anything faster than 4 frames other than super so you can wail on him while he’s blocking a bit easier. In IV if you dont land a hard knockdown you’re not getting without blocking range of him without getting sucked up or being tapped by one of his buttons and then getting sucked up. Or worse comboed since it’s SFIV and everybody can turn lights into the world.
These videos generally show how the matchup went and it’s basically Ibuki having to play with 2 or 3 things from a range and not being able to do anything flashy or offensive that she normally gets to. While Gief gets to be Gief.
I sorely miss Gief being able to just be Gief.

Rashids always poke with c.LK so I think it’s generally intentional that they wanted his c.LK to be a low poke. Doesn’t cancel or chain into anything so definitely intended to be a quick low poke as opposed to the one like Cody or Cammy has that chains into bnbs.
FAT says Rashid’s c.LK doesn’t combo into his VT1. They should buff that in for S4 to compensate Rashid players for the nerfs.
