What about as an indication of an air fireball ( the stick glowing etc). You find that works equally for you? As in free jump ins, or its too telegraphed?

I do purposely hold charge while jumping at people to create a ruse and make them think I’m going to air fireball. Which makes them afraid to AA (unless they have a really good projectile invincible AA) and leads to getting some free jump ins. Can always hit j.LP at them if they try to air to air you. People who are experienced vs Falke know air to air or dash under is the best way to beat her air fireball. You can catch them trying to air to air you preemptively and force them to stick to the ground.

Eventually people will resort to trying to dash under the air fireball so you can come down with neutral jump MP or HP to dissuade that.

Generally when you are charging an air fireball in the air you have a mix up of

  1. shoot air fireball
  2. jump in
  3. dive early to make AA whiff

Shoot air fireball beats most standard ground AA’s but loses to movement. If they are trying to move that’s when jumping in or neutral jumping with a button to stuff works. You can also dive early to bait them into thinking you’re committing to a jump and make their AA whiff. The fact that she can air fireball or dive on any jump means you can also mix up where you land or shoot from your jump for more shenanigans.

No EX hold IMO kinda holds her back, having a beefier version that would enable better combos or block advantage would go a long way, and the EX air fireball giving an advantage and leaving her closer.

Ed not having an EX piano is also super weird, I get it’s due to the KK/PP specials but surely this wouldn’t matter due to the speed of pianos, the game would always register the EX piano

Yeah her trigger shots are the only shots that characters like Bison and Boxer have to remotely fear and it would be nice if she had something to that power for spending an ex bar. Ed at least has some other EX moves that are strong for neutral, but Falke could use at least one EX move that gives her a plus on block or takes up space on screen for setups/positioning.

Bonchan still trying to rock that v trigger meaty. It’s probably the first time I’ve disagreed with him. Just take the damage and the reset imo.

Necalli so boring it took that guy three and a half rounds to wake up and remember he also has V-Skill to challenge fireballs.

It’s kind of reassuring to see Bonchan struggle with dealing with that crossup jMK too. I’m not the only one struggling with AAing that.
It’s a really awkward angle. I’d imagine autocorrect DP from crouching is the best answer?

I think it’s a SF5 thing, was same for Ryu, because the cross up hits deep and the angle is steep I think it wipes out the air invinc and hits you on the ground. EX is better , but I’ve noticed st.jab and jump back mp also deal with it.

It’s really insane sometimes, playing SFV on PS4 makes me feel like Vegeta trainings in the gravitational chamber. My reactions are still on point, but the lag said FU to many reaction punishes. It’s just frustrating.

More than punish what he does it’s annoying how hard or impossible to convince some players to stop doing YOLO stuff over and over. Not only Bison, same story with Urien,Right,etc., some moves can’t be really plus all the time. I can neutral jump preemptively, but then you’re open to something else. It’s dumb.

Necalli EX Dp is the only dp in the game able to hit the opponent with his back since he has active hitboxes even there. He’s the only dp character with 2 3f normals in the game, knocking him down with meter stocked means he can wakeup for free. When I’m VT mode he kept a throw loops using the backthrow, tell me who can do the same. St.MK range got slightly reduced, but he can staggering with it still pretty easily and the overhead is still good like all the others with the unique ability to generate CC stated you try to press buttons. He can bypass zoning like few others in the game and having short combos isn’t a bad thing 'cuz he limits the combo scaling. His VT doesn’t generate unga situations like Ibuki or Urien, but makes him harder to keep away and it’s endless. He has a dive kick, slow how much you want,but good enough to make the opponent dp’s whiff for good. He’s the only character in the game who don’t have bad MU’s since release and alongside Cammy they’re the only ones who never dropped from the top 10. All of that considering he’s the easiest character to use.

I think it’s enough.

Do you guys think Capcom would make MORE money if they actually completely gave away the seasonal characters, but made everything else cost real money (no more fight money)?

I think it could work, especially if Capcom start selling untapped DLC like voice files, music, announcers, huds, taunts, winposes, new visual FX, and anything and everything that does not impact the game itself.

i doubt they would make more money but it would still work out for them and could at least enhance the playerbase situation.
the potential userbase of a fps and a fg are not even close to each other so making billions like fortnite do is not possible with the current ip´s.

that mmo company that bought the rising thunder team where rumors float around that they might make a own fighting game based on the mmo universe might have a chance to drive in a lot of new people into the genre like dbfz did to a much smaller extend but even they will have a hard time to get the big cash due to a large playerbase requirement which doesnt run away after a few weeks.

I’ve never had sLP beat Necalli crossup jMK. Maybe I’m timing it wrong. Jump-back seems solid.

And Bison’s a crap matchup. Bleh.

I’ll answer this one because SF4’s T mode had potential but it was already too late. Nothing was more hilarious than having my Steam Sf4 group start a tournament and 1 player ends up ragequitting the tournament lol
