I think G’s range on his command grab is the same for all versions of it, there’s no difference between light kick and heavy kick Gaia Impact.

Taking way longer to just hit plat than it did when I played Balrog or Cammy. I did take a pretty long break so that may be the reason too.
Hardest part for Caba when playing this game is gauging the distance for the handshake after the match.

G is the grappler / flight based zoner you deserve after they removed Abi’s ability to win CPT events.
Bonchans Sagat showing off similar issues in the big time CPT. Part of it is still being wet behind the ears in clutch situations, but Ibuki loves fighting characters that cant force long ass heavy buttons down her throat. She can just keep walking and jumping with no fear other than some shot damage or an occasional AA until she’s in. The King doesn’t have those big nasty Urien/Bipson heavies that hit all your crouching buttons and force white chip if you hold down back to keep your legs from being clipped.

My stratagie against G is to get the fucker down to half life then once he has trigger my defence is either neutral jump or DP. Then once that’s ran out go back to zoning. I wish I was lying. True story.

Abi is the closest to a losing match and I’d say that’s only a slight loss. Otherwise she doesn’t really lose to anyone imo. Season 2 Gief was the last character she hard lost to.
