Looks also a way to prioritize the Crush Counters, some of them make the character take an entire step to hit. Necalli st.HK comes to mind first, but there’s many others.

Dimps started the hit boxes not matching stuff. Or really Alpha 3 did then Dimps made it a continuous thing. Once SF entered 3d models they just stopped caring about things visually matching 100 perceent. Poured over into V with smaller hit boxes so you have to further memorize where buttons actually land along with specifically placed hurtboxes so no single button can cover too much.
Have to play anime games or Flex to get 2d fighters with stuff that hits idle characters as it already appears on screen.
Don’t know if I can wake up early enough for top 16 esports festival but i’ll try.
I think Sagat does ok against Cammy. I appear to be alone here though. For me right now it’s 5-5. Sagats bad matches are more like when a character can completely disrespect everything at any range (Bison) or just beat shots on reaction (Balrog).
Cammy with her lack of CC spam and Sagats good air coverage actually has to be careful she doesn’t bleed too much getting in, plus Sagats v-reversal is heavily underated. Sagat can press st.hk pretty freely and not worry to much about massive damage swings , like EX arrow, who cares , low damage burnt your meter.

does Alex’s EX head crusher have any kind of invincibility? I was super sure this Alex was going to do it at round start so as he did it I reacted instantly with Urien’s st.hk but it went right through the motherfucker.
Still won the set but damn I hate fighting this walking gimmick of a character

So now we have friggin’ Dynasty Warriors Vergil with anime power-up form but still no Hilde.
Sad.
Pretty similar to Falke. Characters that can safely throw their bodies into the horizontal space and be plus is a problem. On top of the fact that her other way to control people is to go to the sky and mix up dives and air fireballs which fast recovery horizontal moves and special moves just fly under and punish.
Should be pretty obvious at this point that Sagat will be one of the better characters vs Cammy. The reason he adds to the meta is that like Falke, he is one of the few characters that has the angles to slow down what she likes to normally do. She can’t really dive in the way of Sagat or Falke or she gets AA’d for free. Takes a lot of baiting and fake diving to force to even get started.
Just throw invincibility for 4 frames. After that he’s airborne so probably just mistimed the s.HK and his hurt box flew out/above the s.HK

That plus Sagat is tall, of the very few Cammys Ive played it feels like the range where she has to space the dive kick to hit well is also the range sagat can AA. Like they are not quite 100% if it’s their turn or they will land short.
I’m convinced we might see (me included) Sagat players just reaching for st.hk ( quick , big damage, massive range) as the go to AA in any match where the opponent can fuck with dps ( Blanka, Cammy, Rashid etc)

Ok, I have seen a lot of stupid nonsense in this game but by god G is the single most retarded, braindead flowchart yolo mother fucking character that i have ever seen.
He is actually dumber than even Abigail. His VT1 is litreally keep throwing random almost unreactable shit till something hits, then he get massive pay off on hit and on block, just do it again.
Keep throwing shit with no consequences whatsoever. Blocking, fuck you i got a LP SPD throw that can be comboed into CA for 500 damage.
What a monkey of a character.

Makes a lot of sense actually. Tall, manly Sagat fireballs would be thoroughly ignored by Rog.
Cammy is such a fucking snooze fest. As much as I hate Menat, at least she’s kind of interesting to watch as long as it’s no mirror match.
