Watching Smug’s G gets me really motivated to play this game.
Then I actually play and am way woese so it is kind of a downer. But good motivation to keep practicing.

I know Ken players are infamous for spamming EX DP when they feel like it but Ed players are on a whole other level

Roshi is awsome, Raditz is welcomed and SSJ4 is another Goku but one of his best forms so I don’t mind at all.
Majin Vegeta? Nah.

My list would include the following.
Roshi,Tao pai pai,Caulifla ( not Kefla ),King Piccolo,Launch with blonde /blue hair battle stance,Pirate Robot from original DB,Zarbon and maybe general Blue.
Tao Pai Pai is a must, but thus, it will never happen. Same with Launch.
I will only believe that Roshi is in when he is actually announced.

Roshi and Sayaman would be really cool but this game needs a few ladies, it’s a total sausage fest right now.
I decided to upload the end of this match against a rage quitter. But not because of the rage quit, it was more so because he tried the “I’m running away like crazy, surprise motherfucker” strategy.
It actually would have worked because I was chasing him blindly like a moron at first. Then I calmed down and decided to take it slow because I figured he might try to do that. The RQ was just a cherry on top lol.

People are just bad at chasing people “running away”. Which not many characters can really run away since they’ve killed almost all of the backdashes in this game (a good thing overall for the game despite what it kills playstyle wise). Only way Kolin even gets a bit of real runaway is if she backs herself into a corner and then does the double jump out, but then she’s just setting herself up to go into the next corner and get AA’d if she even bothers to do it again.
If you have top level walk speed, just walk people down. Your walk is technically gonna move faster than their backdash with less commitment any way. If they’re jumping backwards they’re just jumping back into an anti air/corner scenario any way. Walking is good.
Do people report that to cfn or you guys just let it be?
How do you do Falke’s trial 10?
I do microwalk to df.HK after the VTC to ensure s.MP hits, but then s.MK keeps whiffing.
edit: never mind, got it. I had to microwalk even longer it seems.

Speaking of that, the thing that pisses me off the most in this game is getting hit by the desperation chase down. The scenario is normally I get a big life lead, my opponent finds a way in and gets me near stun. I find a way out, then I get hit by there full screen special that might be unsafe. Or I just block and get thrown. Other times I throw a EX fireball because they’re dashing in but they jump at the perfect time.
For as many times as I’m able to stop these crazy chase downs, I think I’ve been hit by it just as much and it’s really irritating.
They will usually have v trigger by the time you bring their health down that low, so if they’re not patient like most of those players won’t be, yeah you have to expect the chase down. Technically in their favor since button VTC lets them play way more ham once they get near you than you can vs them. You either thread the needle as hard as you can or take their eventual get in and try to keep composed until you can get room to take the rest of the match.

Taking suggestions. The more lf a community feel we can give it, the better.
I wanted to do this special thing where a local guy could win a #1 headband. He could play locals for free while he had it. Then people could basically fight for #1 contender and challenge the headband.
Could do something like that where we have a tourney for the challenger spot on one day and then a FTX for the title kn a seperate day.
Could also seasonal tournaments and crown a spring/summer/fall/winter champ etc.
