Got to try G against the random masses today. Was rough but not unexpected. Still got a lot of work to do.
Upside is I managed to end on a win by killing Kage with a VT1 combo which is a pretty G way to close out the day.
Switched over to the DoA6 beta after. It ran okay for me but there are weird moments where the game seems to get super frame drops. Like the matches run okay but any of the cinematic stuff is instant 30fps. Not necessarily terrible but wierd.
I also know fuck all about playing DoA so I mostly got kicked around a lot. Picking Diego probably wasn’t the best choice. Still managed to end on a win after I ran into the only other person that had a worse approach than I did.
I’m not sure how I feel about the metered stuff in that game but seemed mostly like more DoA. And the online while not amazing or anything was way the fuck better than 5 was when I played it. So good for DoA folks.

I played every waking hour for season one then less and less for every season after but enough to basically keep ranking up. I’m still complete and utter garbage.

Really wish they could reduce the pushback on Laura’s st.MP… the move is like +4 so its such a tease not to be able to connect a st.LK after it.
Also is it crazy talk to say that Sakura’s st.LK might be the best light attack in the game rn, you can use it for so many things

I still get mad looking at Falke’s VT2. Shit is still awful. At least it’s less awful at only minus 20 something on activate and 2 bars. Still have to test it vs Boxer, but other than that awful.

Hey now I actually lost to a Falke because of that VT about a week ago lol. Kept wanting to parry or DP it on reaction but I kept doing the parry either too late/early or didn’t get the DP out in time. So look on the bright side, it’s faster than a jump(I think).
