I initially like Josie because of the way her moves look and how much secondary animation is happening with her idle stance.
But with the little bit of her I’ve played and even being the Tekken nooblet that I am I do like how she plays. The way you are describing her sounds right up my alley, at least in that game.
I’ve come to realize over the past year or so at plugging away at this game and dabbling with other games that I’m not really sure what kind of character I like to play. I think it varies some based on the engine, but when I go back to the archetypes I used to think I liked I kinda hate them all now. One of the big reasons I’m still having trouble picking a direction for S4 in SFV.
Speaking of that I was watching an 801 Strider replay and I learned that G’s Lvl 3 fireballs just sort of eat up Aegis without bouncing back. I didn’t know that, and the Urien player clearly didn’t either; watching G just shred his first mirror broke his brain and he just sort of sat there and tossed out the second one which was immediately melted, then he just kinda crouched full screen. Been a minute since I’ve seen someone mentally break like that in a replay.
Well, it will make Monkey big bucks, so I can’t be too mad about it.
As bad as EH may be, if it helps one of us make money out of their content, I am all for it.
I swear Ed players throw EX.Upper as soon as he gets a bar 90% of the time. Even worse then Ken players lol.
Also I really don’t like G’s design. He feels a bit uninteractive where he seems totally mediocre without VT1 or President levels. Then when he does get going i have to sit there and watch him do his year long training mode combos.
In either case its just one person rolling the other.
I saw your message just now, I was playing with a friend few minutes ago, but I’ve turned off the PS4, I will be available tomorrow if you want, I didn’t played a Falke in months.
Playing in Lounge calm me down a lot and especially I’ve learned a bit more about the rhythm I need to keep with Zeku, speed is the key. Well, he’s a ninja after all.
What’s it like playing him versus other top players? I’ve played lots of top players in other games but not in sf5, and no one on punks level either. It’s alwys something I’ve eanted to do just to see how far down the rabbit hole gets as far as skill is concerned in this game.
Pretty much. Like YT/Twitch pays my bills now, but only cause I live dirt cheap. I make roughly about as much as a minimum wage job here in Ontario. Maybe if I was like twice as big as I am now I would make actual money but right now this road still ain’t it.
Early on each video of mine SRK or EH linked was a MASSIVE boon to the channel. When you don’t have many subscribers each outlet that posts something of yours is an undeniable massive help for exposure and new potential subscribers. For someone who wants to get off the ground especially FGC wise SRK and EH can make or break you.
I am watching if there’s anything of note then there will be a video of it soon enough after the stream. Here’s hoping its not just “tune in to the world finals on the 27th” and there is some actual meat to it.
I can honestly say Punk is one of those players that always seems to anticipate what you’re going to do next. Not just on offense, but defense. The way he can read a player is honestly uncanny. I’ve played plenty of great players, but not many that really made me question every single thing I did throughout the match.
