Mained sakura for a long time. I think the character is in a good place now. Matchup against zangief is also much better now with the buff to fireball.
With all her flaws I don’t see myself maning any other character then Juri.When she got added I switched from Cammy and never looked back.

I played Cammy in lots of games, but SF4 (Arcade Edition) and SFV were the games where I played her the most. Moreso SFV than SF4, since Rose and Sak were my mains all throughout the SF4 series.
Rose is a character I basically had as a main since Alpha 1.

Max corner combo damage. Vt1 setups/combos.
But these arent a must, what makes the character hard is that you need to become effective on nullifying opponents fireball game and baiting your own, and that requires high ability to control space and timing. On top of that ed’s combos still whiff unless your up close and super specific range.
Played Cammy in alpha, I like the character.
I started playing SF more serious in SF4 days where Juri and Gouken were my favorites.
SFV launches I used Cammy again and still mess around with her in casuals.
Juri got added I went back to my main.I really want Gouken back though.

Abigail VTII makes my heart race, sure you can jump over it unless you’re cornered but Abi players are aware of that and will change the timing to fuck you up.
Found this Abi player that got to Ultra Gold simply by spamming metro run, random sweep and run away as soon as he got the life lead keeping the opponent at bay with his jabs. It’s a dumb gameplan but he got me the first round and I can see how it can be effective with this character, you really need nerves of steel to answer his bullshit correctly
Who do you play? A lot of characters can answer it.
it’s not about answering it (I play Juri btw) it’s about not panicking when facing his gimmicks, it’s only normal considering how it’s easy to fuck up against him and pay dearly for it
Once he starts charging just remeber there’s only one thing that can happen.
Jump back, and reversal.
I was able to get away with it a few times, but now no one lets me.
When abigail starts charging, you have to jump forward.
Doesnt work for Urien because people are always gonna downplay his ass.
Neutral jumping at the last moment works well too. At the end it’s abigail taking a risk unlike certain other characters like rashid. You can blow up the non ex version with attacks that hit twice too.
metro run quickly followed by P would hit me if I do that form up close, the thing with metro run is that depending if he uses meter, no meter at all or VT+ meter you might be forced to have a different answer depending on who you play due to the different amount of armor he gets, again, it’s very easy to screw up against him and once you screw up you’re going to eat a ton of damage hence the pressure when I fight against him
Evo Japan coming in 2 weeks, right? Good chance for Capcom to release something, maybe a Japanese character and I can suggest the Chosen One.

If he’s abusing the normal one, just Psycho Rising when you seem him start running at you, you’ll blow through every option since it hits twice (beating the armor on the flip option or if he keeps on running) and is fully invincible just before it goes active (blowing up both the throw and the punch). And if you’re not confident in reacting fast enough to him starting the run, you have EX Psycho Upper which blows it up even easier.
EX Run you can only really blow up with EX Psycho, but only if he commits to a follow-up option, if he just keeps running he can absorb both hits and then punch you in the face
Oh and Ed is still the only character with a non-super armor breaker in the form of his V-skill

Also from the other side of the matchup, psycho rising beats a huge number of Abi gimmicks. And if I spend bar to EX run for gimmick, it usually just hits Ed out of the air and I get nothing for it.
