Karin was better in this matchup, but Punk game plan is too exposed now. Smug destroyed him with an huge array of EX dash punches and St.HK CC to stop Punk from pressing buttons. When you block every Karin attempts and she’s out of range then you can clip her with an unreactable safe ex move if she trying to get back inside.

I’ve never ever seen someone block as many Ibuki mixups as Smug did. There must be visual cues for him to know how to block cuz that was insane.
Well, at least Punk decided to don’t use Cammy anymore. I think he’s going to watch the Capcom Cup from his home couch this year, he can’t go anywhere with Chun and S3 Karin isn’t a threat. I still think Punk he’s the most talented youngster out there, but I’m genuinely surprised by his attachment for a classic SF play instead of SFV craziness. Honest play don’t work here.
