You always learn more from a mistake or a loss than over a win.
Tokido will definitely come out stronger out of this thanks to that loss. He also has some class.

One HUNDRED percent. His Akuma was just awful. He looked why more solid with Birdie. I think he’s suffering from Louffy Syndrome in that his Birdie has been figured out.

The hesitation at the character select screen looked like he had already lost. I think a character switch might be for the better but you have to commit, switching in a best of three match is hella risky.
Things are just different for Mena now, he’s not an unknown underdog; he’s been scouted, it’s a lot harder for him to go crazy when people have that much footage.
Also, the criticism… people hate seeing Mena win with yolo shit into VTrigger but that’s one of the ways to play SFV. Especially with a big reward character like Birdie. If that criticism is in his head he can’t play as confident as he needs to with his old play style.
