Honestly that what should’ve happened given the disaster of MVCI. It almost feels like the majority of that game’s budget went into securing the deal with marvel and Disney than into the actual development of the game

I agree with you on the budget. Rumors said the games budget was half the budget for SFV’s Season 1 DLC. Please lets not mention Capcom Fighting Jam…the less said about it. The better.

Basically. The DLC characters, Marvel characters, Megaman X , Zero & Sigma were the only characters that got love on MvC:i.
I had also read that there was like a corporate mandate from Marvel about how the Capcom characters all had to look worse and act like Jabroni’s outside of X, Zero & Sigma, but I take that with a grain of salt.
