If you rolled back and got CCed then the netcode worked. Rollback forces the game into small rewinds every so often to keep the integrity of the match intact. You getting CCed was the right thing to happen.
That said yes, rollback netcode could be implemented way better and CCs are still a trash ass mechanic.

I think it says a lot that in those replays from the game’s first EVO in 2016 it’s pretty much played in the same way as it is now.
On the other hand SFIV’s first EVO appearance vs. two years later almost looked like two different games.
Because SFIV legitimately WAS a different game two years later.
