Menat with Rose DNA:
You can pretty much use this as a cheat sheet for top contenders and sleeper hits.
Go to the bottom and scroll to the other pages to see more CPT peepz. I definitely want Nemo to make top 8. Urien is still cheap. Guile is the only one of the top 5 he really struggles with IMO. He can fight the others.
I want G
Post must be at least 10 characters
it definitely is the better one…but it seems i cant compute all the stuff going on in anime games to old for that shit.
Evo u all gonna suffer like G did
frotzey already mad that he missed out to buy his waifu at evo
Since the now-retired leaker X-Kira datamined an additional bunch of Mega Man-related crossover costumes (Mega Man, Proto Man, Bass, Mega Man X, Zero, and Axl), I wonder when they’ll be added into the game in the future.
-J. HP works wonders as an air to air in that matchup. I actually figured this out shortly before CEO when trying to find something to better deal with Dhalsim’s drills (which are harder to air to air). Go and watch Infiltration vs Verloren at CEO top 8 and you’ll see he applies it as well, but he’s not greedy with it. He mostly goes for jump back air to airs (which in some cases is even better at intercepting her… like in the corner). However j.HP has the benefit of being one of the few air to airs where Chun is pretty much always at an advantage when she lands (because it hits twice or the first hit will knock down. It’s a win/win both ways), so this doubles as anti-jump vs Cammy AND turns into your own pressure on her (CH button/throw/bait/etc).
…for the really fast stuff like EX divekick or EX hooligan divekick, I’ve trained to use stomps to intercept those. It’s really good. But j. HP vs the other air stuff is more consistent.
You can test those vs V-trigger divekicks as well if you want (they do work, but you have to be sharper), but I usually still don’t contest them that much and would rather just V-Reversal them on block since she can’t really call that out. Chun’s v-reversal too fast for her to get a throw or anything if you do it right.
-Cammy’s v-reversal is a bitch for trying to apply corner pressure against, but two things:
- It’s -4 on block if you bait it and you can punish that with cr. LK xx Legs/EX Legs if you bait it.
- During Chun’s VT1, the block stun on Chun’s buttons actually makes it so that the opponent can’t v-reversal until later, so she can both pressure and bait with more buttons while it is activated. Test them yourself.
I’ve actually been having a better time vs Cammy with these tools applied as it keeps her on the ground more and then I can play the ground game with her. Her pressure is still really good if she gets in, but it’s just easier for me to prevent that now.
Edit: I typed this out before seeing other replies to your post, but I still think there are some good things to pull from the Infil vs Verloren match. Thankfully he didn’t get taken out 3-0 before bringing it back (I expected him to lose pretty quickly when he was down 2-0).
You need to stop being so down on yourself
I would not be surprised if Tokido loses to Tse4444 in pools.
Still no Magma Dragoon Akuma. Common, Capcom. Maybe the idea is so good they’ll sell it instead.
who you guys like best: smug, punk, or stormkubo?
i think smug is on fire right now but the other 2 have a better history. what yall think?
i think tokido would do some training after that set against smug. which he didnt even lose.
I feel like stormkubo will do good enough to make it out of pools smug or punk can be pretty inconsistent
i feel that way too but a lot of new rog tech is being discovered. maybe im just biased. shiet.
Tokido destroyed him when they played in Evo Japan.
Out of those three? Smug. Punk is a shell of himself right now. I like StormKubo but Smug seems to be locked in right now. Plus he’s rocking the best Boxer in the world IMO.
That sucks.
