What d3v is referring to is different than what I was taking about. On the same damage settings between arcade and DC, there are supposedly some combos that don’t do the same damage.
The Philippines is a weird place full of wonderful things. Among them is setting the damage to level 1. This makes a bunch of things that would kill or seriously hurt do significantly less damage. For some goofy reason though, chip damage doesn’t scale the same so Strider/doom traps and other things deal a ridiculous amount of chip.
Filipino Marvel is batshit crazy too because they have the time settings on longest. So people are constantly playing long ass games where nobody dies.
Shit is crazy over there.

I love MvC2 but its cool that there was this weird regional beast going on over there that developed in its own unique way.
Same way that S.Korea keeps CE alive as the definitive version of SF2, Phillipines was holding it down on an alternate dimension of Marvel.
Hopefully F.Champ gets hit with more copyright strikes. all over again.

Man I just woke up from a dream. I dreamt of @DevilJin01. I dreamt that I woke up to pee and after peeing, I would always take a look at my mobile to check for messages. So I decided to come to srk in my dreams and saw that deviljin started a new thread and there was already 100s of posts. He was mad hype and shilling for sfv news at Evo.
Then I felt the urge to pee (IRL), woke up and went to the toilet. I picked up my phone and immediately logged in to srk because I wanted to continue reading deviljin’s hype as fuck post only to be disappointed. There was no new thread.
How the fuck did I dream of srk and of deviljin.
Is this prophetic dream a message from our Lord and savior, Big T? I wonder what’s the meaning behind this.

I think it’s partly because people are getting tired of the level 1 meta. It definitely creates its own problems (Iron Man), while killing some teams (RIP Clockwork). A part of the local community has been clamoring for a change to level 2 for some time now.

Well maybe Yang or Elena will happen. 
Part of me is interested in Viper as a possibility if she ever manifests in this game but I don’t know that I’d have it in me to switch chars again. Feels like I’m just now getting my footing with Kolin (though interspersing cheatbox learnin’ in the middle of that didn’t help).
