I don’t really care for the SFL format, but the players do care, and it’s fun seeing people who otherwise might not get the chance to square off against some great players.
Heard the polls closed an hour early yesterday, they probably won’t do anything to potentially fix it.
Might not even be possible to open the same polls from a technical standpoint.

You know what I thought I do the boy auto a favour and put up a video on my channel, but the whole things kinda left a sour taste in the mouth so I’ve just taken it down. Not his fault, just don’t really care about it now.
Also lonedragon has 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube? The fuck is happening I feel like Mel Gibson in that movie where he wakes up in the future after getting knocked out.

Catching up on the thread. Spent the weekend baking in the sun at a food truck festival, then vegging out playing FE: Three Houses (damn good so far).
@Akhos Appreciate the nod about footsies. Playing people here - specifically you - has made the biggest difference with that. Its given me a much, much better format to try things, see why they aren’t working, come up with ideas to try, and give them a shot. All against people who are actually engaging that way instead of say just jumping around like loonies.
Like I said to PlusFrames most people playing online don’t play in a way that is going to make you any better at footsies. It is very, very rare that you run into anyone that actually engages that way (at least up through the people I’ve played) and even when they do it is usually super rudimentary. I feel very fortunate to have been able to get the experience I have because otherwise I would totally be just mashing on st.HP and doing my training mode combos when it hits and cursing when it doesn’t.
Also I saw your post about not being able to sleep a ways back. I’ve had a very similar, if not the same, issue for a long time now.
After engaging in any competitive activity, if I lose I will have a million things churning around in my brain for the rest of the day. Doesn’t matter what it is, it sticks in my brain hard and I can’t shake it. It got bad enough at one point that I would pick days where I didn’t play SFV because I knew that if I had a bad day I would lose a shitload of sleep just ruminating on all of the things I could have done better.
Lying awake, going over and over things. Kicking myself for the things I did wrong, scrambling to come up with ways to fix it, telling myself I’d hit it hard the next day and fix the issues. Reliving the moments, feeling all the anxiety, stress, and frustration over and over. Vicious cycle because the next day I’d be exhausted and either not want to play or be off due to sweet, sweet sleep deprivation.
Unfortunately I don’t have any great solutions for you. I’ve been working hard to change that over the past year or so. The biggest thing I have found that helps is not letting the negativity really take hold because that is usually what starts the death spiral that leads to a sleepless night.
It is a cycle that is very, very hard to break out of because what you are actually doing it fighting a fight you can’t win: you can never go back and undo that loss, hit that AA, confirm that hit, do that combo, so you are just going to keep flogging yourself in a cycle that is ultimately useless. You can’t change the past, you are well past the point where it is going to help you in the future (once you recognize what you need to change no need to rehash it over and over), and as mentioned stressing yourself out about it ultimately just makes you tired for tomorrow.
The only thing I have found that helps is swatting things down before they can take root. Remind myself over and over, past is past, can’t change it. Focus on the future and deal with that tomorrow. Let the bad stuff go, it doesn’t help to kill myself over it.
It helps. Still have plenty of times where I have to will away the mental replays of matches I lose, but it helps. Good luck man, you can beat it and if you can get that cognition shift happening it will help you shed a decent bit of the stress these FGs are lumping on you.
@PlusFrames I still have BBCTB installed on my PS4. Haven’t touched it in forever but if you pick it up we can give it a go.

Because it for comedy and it got SF on it. Newgrounds had a collab of SF something like those before. They may not be along the personal taste along with how the jokes were. I understand because I had my preference too but I know the target of those.
Im not a fan of his artstyle but still he can legitly animate decently or even create a setting of comedy not some guy that just pretends to know but doesn’t even understand how those work and cannot even animate. We had tons of those.
The issue is just him being a extreme capcom fan defender on reddit and eventhubs. Sometimes I could have mistake him for a social media guy. He was even a part of the earlier batch of storythread along with cipher here to fair with the dude. His artstyle and story telling had it’s own audience in his channel.
The number of announcements and the quality of announcements we have this year is unprecendented! Better buy yourself some Negan pants!

I don’t know I was just reading some guides i was stumble with one of yours as the author. That was years ago can’t remember exactly.
He did a vid about a guy running into a fat mermaid which gained a lot of views. Then he started doing his own animated show called Porkchops and Flatscreens iirc. Basically a fighting anime type of thing with a pretty big following.
He may be the most incomprehensible shill foe this wack ass game on the planet, but dude has put in hella work on his youtube channel. It has that old internet feeling to it where you could find some cool crazy stuff that only a section of the web knew about too.
