Sometimes I tell myself it’s gonna happen but I end up doing the non-DP thing from muscle memory anyway…just gotta put more time into it so it comes naturally and I don’t hesitate

Base diamond may take a wee bit longer since I need to teach myself hitbox first.
But I know I can get there with Falke.
Shouldn’t Falke be super easy on hitbox, since you don’t need motions with her outside of Super.
Mostly.
But I will have to build the muscle memory and the dexterity to properly use the movement buttons on it and that won’t happen overnight.
Dashing, jumping, blocking. All that will require lots of training till they are natural for me again.

Hitbox came much more naturally to me than stick. The hardest part for me was blocking, particularly walking forward and then crouch-blocking

What’s everybody’s final predictions for the reveals across the lineup?
Here’s mine:
ArcSys
- New character trailer for GranBlue. Release date - Early 2020
- No news for the next Guilty Gear. That is saved for ArcRevo finals later this year
- BBTAG gets a reveal for the 6th fate. Another 4-character DLC pack to be released next year
- Persona 5 Arena remains to be a myth
- Mori still trolls everyone with hints of a new mainline BlazBlue
- French Bread officially announces UNICLR and its release date. New UI, new characters, new stages, balance changes and all that. Arcade loctest to begin in September, JP launch later in 2019, Western release in Spring 2020
NRS
- Gameplay reveal for Nightwolf and Sindel. Sindel gets an MK Annihilation costume, while Nightwold gets a Chief Thunder costume
- Release date is late August, but two weeks after EVO those who own the season pass will get an early access to both characters, same as Shang
- Along with Sindel and Nightwolf there will be a big balance patch for the entire cast, which to my memory would be the first one since April
- Potential teaser for the next DLC character at the end of Sindel/Nightwolf trailer
Bandai Namco
- Janemba reveal for DBFZ. We already know he’s coming, at this point we only need to see him in action and to hear the release date (but probably at the end of August. V-Jump will have scans and stuff about the character in mid-August)
- Gogeta and Broly probably to be released in Autumn. It would be really neat if we got all three remaining DLC characters back to back, but considering how shit the management for the game has been I don’t expect that to happen
- Season 3 teaser for Tekken 7. Season 3 patch to arrive sometime in September - new balance changes, maybe a new mechanic. Still 6 characters, one of them being a guest.
- T7’s next guest char is Tifa Lockhart from FF7 or Yagami from Judgement.
- Tekken x Street Fighter remains in limbo, T7 is still going strong so don’t expect a new entry in the series anytime soon
- Soulcalibur VI finally gets a Cassandra trailer. Amy came out ages ago and it’s about time people got what they paid for with the season pass
SNK
- Rimururu release date reveal for SamSho
- Potentially a new patch announcement with either balance changes (seriously Genjuro is broken) or online play additions (lobbies are trash and netcode needs improvement)
- First teaser for KOF XV. They have already confirmed the game to be coming out in 2020, would make sense to at least give us an idea how’s the game going to be. XIV’s premiere trailer had some gameplay shown in it
- Since the release is 2020, I expect KOF XV to be among the first games on PS5 and Xbox 2. The trailer will have no mentions for platforms as nobody can really talk about the games targeting the systems. Expect more details at PlayStation Experience 2019, if that’s to take place in December. So far Sony have not confirmed there is one happening (but speculation’s are it will since it’d be the perfect place to reveal all things PS5)
- Garou 2 remains a dream
Capcom
- Season 4 news, I suppose. I honestly do not know what to expect from them, but at least we know it’s not SF6 via Ono’s confirmation

My prediction:
We will get a trailer for 1-2 S4 characters. Crowds will boo because they will think that’s it.
Ono will yell into the mic “do you want more?!”. The crowds cheers and the lights go out.
We’re getting a CGI cinematic trailer for SSFV. I don’t know if it will be the complete one or one spliced with shots of new gameplay. But it will be enough.
The lights go up and everyone is crying and hugging. The FGC is saved. The wait was worth it. Ono looks on to the crowd one more time with a smirk on his face and raises his fist high up.
Everyone together “SHORYUKEN!!!”.

I wouldn’t mind to see Wang, Raven, or Kunimitsu either though.
Baek, the animals, Ogre, Bosconovitch, Combot, Jinpachi, Tiger Jackson can stay in the Tag games
I doubt we’ll see Zafina, Wang would be more likely than her imo. The rest sound reasonable. Ganryu brings back an old playstyle despite being middling in popularity (though he’s always had good tournament results), Jun and Bruce have playstyle equivalents already in T7 but are very popular, and Mokujin is iconic and should be relatively cheap for Namco to create. Not seeing any of the bosses being ported. Alex/Roger might happen, but I doubt it.

Please don’t bring back Zafina. Holy shit by far one of my most hated fighting game characters in existence. Fuck that character. 
The whole SF league has turned into a cluster fuck. It’s kinda put me off even supporting it.
