You’re sounding really scrubby right about now…

Didn’t you just say you feel like you play better against higher ranked players but get washed by yolo lowbies?
24 man you are barely even alive
on pizza news you should see if you can find butter chicken pizza somewhere. I got this local place that opened up thats a hybrid pizza shop/indian food place and butter chicken pizza is delicious.
Yeah because I neglected ranked for so long and never properly practiced against it
That’s not the game’s fault, it’s mine for being bad
Unrelated but since Laura got brought up (if it wasn’t posted already):
Holy fuck that’s nauseating. That trade nonsense always happens against fucking Laura and Urien.
Domino’s (I know) did something like this in the UK a few years ago. Curry pizza is fucking superb, and it made me start trying to make my own.
You know with a lot of peoples faults with SFV and the like, and what “feels like street fighter” and such discussions that have happened in the past.
Laura is not Street fighter, that shit was gross and nobody despite losing in that situation, could actually possibly feel like they actually got beat or outplayed.
had he not played Fang he wouldn’t have been caught by that by the second hit of his normal
It’s Fang’s fault
don’t forget
Justin Wong: “When most people say SF5 is bad, they’re probably comparing it to Street Fighter 4, which is a far superior game in general”
Debatable. Let’s not play into that revisionist history of “jank isn’t Street Fighter” as if you didn’t have grimy vortex shit in IV.
Hell, at this point each SF is more defined by the kind of jank it has.
iDom had the clarity of mind to capitalize off a trade and y’all focusing on the jank.
Yes, Laura’s mixups are filthy. No shit they’re filthy, a character with a gameplan based on mixups need them to be filthy or they’re fucking bottom tier, get over it.
Bonita bless, bitches.

I am having the worst outing in ranked I’ve had in a long time.
When it rains in SFV, it pours. Like, I am just losing to any and everyone.
Yeah, he gets to figure it out momentarily and then the game goes back to being a bunch of wacky nonsense.
That’s sort of the cycle of this game. Playing solid matters until it doesn’t. Being a buffoon is really good because it increases your chances of something good happening. Trying to kill your opponent by stopping his buffoonery is bad because some buffoonery is just too random to control which people will justify with “good design”.
Which is basically why Tokido shrugs his losses at high level play. Next release should really be titled “Street Fighter 5: Shit Happens Edition” because that’s basically what playing this game is like.
You must of never run into a good Makoto in 3S…
But doesn’t everyone, including tokido,Daigo,infil.etc. have bad days? From every level from rookie to pro, just like any sport, there’s times when even that dude Messi has bad games, but you’re not defined by “a couple of matches/days you played bad, by that dp that didn’t come out, by that read you should have known, by that penalty you missed”, you’re defined by how you normally play, what your rank says, how far you’ve gotten.
That kinda pissed me off when I was watching Bea’s stream. She was just playing lame and solid until that G just got one good jump after several failed attempts. You can guess how that round ended.
Not even dissing the guy or anything, it’s more of a skewed risk-reward scenario. The game itself is fucked.
If getting an AA deals like, 100, 120dmg and a jump-in deals 300+oki or whatever, is there really an incentive to not just try to blow people up with those?
Not gonna really try to talk about the meta since I barely played since S2, but isn’t the lack of “just VT things” the very reason Sagat is a struggle character rn? If you’re trying to play this game solid, you already fucked up.

Characters who exist solely to be a mix up on a stick are usually trash gameplay.
Don’t @ me.

Makoto plays a lot more footsies than people give her credit for. No idea why people think she just gets picked on character select and then people ToD’ed. Hell SA2 isn’t even the go to one in certain match ups.

The hilarious part of G is that to be at a high level, you need to have good footsies. But if you don’t then well fuck it, you’ll eventually hit something into something.
What really doesn’t help is this stupid ass “no chip kills unless from a super” nonsense. Oh no sir, you need to EARN the win. So those 40 seconds of beating his ass in the middle of the screen don’t count for shit? Fuck out of here with that mentality. If your character is meant to hold it down midscreen, chip kill is their reward for doing a good job.

Played more consistently than the vast majority of NRS games combined.
Still waiting on Appo to get me that footage of all the Injustice 1 tournaments still happening because people love the game but that don’t happen because the NRS scene is not like that.
Having good footsies with G is simply a question of how big your jab button is on your stick
I don’t know if that’s an actual/sincere quote from him, but you know.
Considering his playstyle is based on engaging with the game’s mechanics as little as possible, his opinion really means fuck all.

God damn you’re so scrubby. You need st. short too:
You don’t want it with my G.
