I forgot where I saw this but, a slight buff to falke would be if her fire balls didn’t make her hand glow… I don’t know if they thought that was just cool or thought she needed it as a balance mechanic.
It’s probably to show to her own players that the Zonkball is charged.
Falke and Ed are the “EZ Special chars for special kids”, remember?
It’s useful to see while you’re learning her but after a week or two you don’t really need it anymore.
From what I understand and from what a lot of people that know tekken waaaay better than me have told me is that Lei is not an easy character to learn. To use his stances correctly you have to have a pretty good knowledge of every character. Negan is pretty simple, makes sense that more people play him.
I sorta did this and I’m ashamed. I was playing Lei at a local and doing pretty well, everyone told me he’s super hard to learn so I switched back to armor King. I’m ashamed.
Yeah, Lei is pretty complicated. You can play him a lot of ways, but you need to understand his stance transitions to get decent with him. And he has something like 13 stances with different transitions, soooo… yeah, takes some effort. He can cheese people out, but so can a lot of characters. And when people bring up Negan, he’s one of those characters you can easily just string people to death with, I’m not surprised a lot of players have him as their highest ranked character (which is what that list was measuring).
I think I solved my problem of not having a stick in Italy for when I will go there at the end of August. I was gonna get an Hori mini just for the travel, the today I thought “well Italy has Amazon and eBay, might as well just buy and sent it straight to Italy”
Turns out an Hori fighting edge is pretty cheap on Amazon and I have been wanting to get it plus with my wife not coming with me due to pregnancy I have 60kg of luggage all for me.
Therefore I will buy the FE send it to Italy and bring it back with me.
2 birds, one stone
The problem is that people confuse terrible internet infrastructure with bad netcode.
Like for example, people keep claiming that asw netcode is bad simply because is input delay based.
Like if having Rollback will magically fix the issues they have due their internet provider infrastructure.
They will only exchange having more delay, for their opponent teleporting around.
I disagree, from my experience, the ASW netcode is good, not the best, but not as terrible as people like to claim.
I can play without problems with cousins on japan and taiwan while in Honduras, with just 4f of extra input lag at worst.
While stuff like SFV is utter trash even when playing with a cousin that lives in the same city.
Also, from my experience SG is barely above other games, when i tested it against people in mexico.
Killer instinct is the undisputed champ of netplay. They can have second place.
I live in taiwan, the netcode of literally any FG but SFV it’s amazing between asian countries, you are right on that.
On the other hand SG netcode is definitively amazing. I played with @Volt who’s in some broken ass favela in Brazil and it was smooth sailing.
On a side not I also play Taiwan to US matches on GGxrd and BBCF and it’s nice. UNIST is unplayable.
Wait, how’s that even possible?
Oh.
Seconding the ASW Delay netcode not being gutter trash tho. I used to have better connections against americans on P4A using fisher price wifi than what I get in SFV.
It’s not just the infrastructure, SFV’s netcode is ass cheeks. (Infrastructure does have an impact tho.)
Noooo, I just bought that.
it’s ok on same continent play man, it’s just over the ocean play that doesn’t work
Literally none of the UNIST player complains about netcode.
I’m talking Taiwan to Canada here.
Who are you gonna play?
Don’t worry fam, it at least has a dank story and trial modes and it’s also an Evo game.
Sadly, yeah.
UNIEL can be a hit or miss.
You can be playing without problems and without notice, everything can turn to shit for a while, lol.
BTW, another thing that can doesnt help for netplay is the amount of fools playing using wifi.
Like, they already have terrible internet due their infrastructure, and are making it worse by playing it wireless while more than likely having someone watching netflix at their home.
And then they go post on reddit that x game has trash netcode, lol.
The good thing is that most people who play it ensure to minimize the random nature of the netcode.
I for the most part can play fine with my friends on mexico, its just that like sfv, it has its moments where you have random lag spikes
Noooo, this game doesn’t have chip kills.
Why you do French Bed?
x 2

Seeing the amount of shit that the oponets can do, i kind of understand why they decided to not have them, lol.
