I think thats the wrong mentality.
Instead of nerfing what was good in S1, they should just have buffed, what was weak.

Powercreep and former good characters becoming bad is pretty much what has been SFVs balance result since the first balance patch.

I mean they didn’t really stick to much they promised pre-release anyway.
Even the “free earnable characters” are at this point more hot air than anything else.
(have to give them credit, they were earnable in S1 and 2)

My point stands, don’t nerf whats strong (unless it’s absolutly overpowerd) and rather buff weak stuff.

Strong stuff in SFV is stupid by design, cause the entire game was designed with that in mind.

You can have strong stuff that is not busted, there are enough games that show this.
