SFV Lounge: I'm still alive. Sakura's alt is kinda cute

As long as those are Juri costumes all is good.

You gotta toughen up on that. Everyone shits on everything, all the time, forever. Its how the world works.

Some people on SRK don’t even like NRS, can you believe that!? But that don’t stop me. You gotta have the same mentality.

SamSho might make it back with no competing SNK entry.

Entries will drop off for sure.

DBFZ’s only hope is if there’s a surprise remix edition, and that doesn’t seem likely.

20 people for your local tourney in SF5? That’s better than my city was doing. We maxed out at 16 and that was a few years ago. From what I heard from one of the local guys, SF5 is basically dead and everybody is playing UNISt.

But the point is that you could be playing SF4 if you wanted to. Nothing is stopping you from hitting up the USF4 Revival facebook page or random discords just to find people. A lot of the older game players do just that because playing something you love > playing something you don’t.

BlazBlue managed to get 64 people at the CEO side event, there’s not much reason for USF4 side tourneys not to crack 100+ easily. Personally if I was capcom, CapCup would be about all the SF games in the current gen. Not everything needs the lion’s share of the prize pool but throwing a few dollars at ST, 3S and USF4 just to keep the games fresh in people’s memories does a lot.

Point remains: you could be playing USF4 and doing it a lot, you just choose not to.

even having a local makes you spoiled as far as I am concerned. No locals here in the woods and the cows don’t wanna play FG’s.

Hell no it hasn’t

I don’t get this mentality.

When is the right time to stop playing a game you like?

When the next game drops and replaces it.

I don’t think they’ll announce the next Guilty Gear before ArcRevo World Tour finals

He doesn’t try hard enough. I teached the cows in my village how to do Inferno Divider.
If he is willing he can teach his cows how to play bad american fighting games.

Its run as a main stage EVO game. Not as a game overall.

I thought that was implied from the context of discussing main stage EVO games.
