Looking at the frames, G has no 3F, Rog has a 3F and armoured wake up. Don’t know who’s buttons are better though. Rog has many reliable AAs, where as G’s are kinda wonky. What does G do better than Rog against Gief or Abigail? @Eskills
If I was to nerf Ibuki I think the only big change I’d make to her is her low forward being cancelable into V trigger.
I’d say G has better AA by a long shot. His cr. Hp and v-skill can AA crossup too. Boxer can’t do that at all.
G may not have a 3 frame, but his 4 frame jabs are pretty amazing for the range they have couple with the damage and corner carry he gets. They both have good neutral buttons though.
Boxer’s Ex Screw Smash has armor sure, but it’s only 1 hit on frame 3. You’re eating that meaty.
G does better in those matchups because of his fireball(especially when leveled up they gotta hold it), better AA, and much better whiff punishing when it’s comes to damage and corner carry.
Boxer gets mad cockblocked in some matchups. Honestly picking just about anything else is better than sticking with boxer vs Gief, Laura, Abigail, or Mika.

Thinking about it, G and boxer are kinda similar play style wise. 
Just ya know G gets a fireball and a command grab lol.
I was watching Smug, and his AA rate is piss poor against Abigail. He tried Cr.Hp and VS to no avail. I guess G’s explosiveness makes up for it in VT1, compared to Rog.
Rog has a command grab. ᕙ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ᕗ
And he doesn’t care about fireballs.
AA on Abigail always feels mixed bag in general with that his jump arc and buttons.
G is definitely much scarier in trigger.
Rog vt2 is ok vs Bison I guess. Probably the only matchup I’ll pick it. Have you seen the range of G’s command grab though and he gets a combo. Boxer ain’t got nothing on that.
G doesn’t care about fireballs at all. Wheel kick, vskill, and multihit plasma of his own.

its because the smasher is different.
I saw the crowd change from MK11 to smash ultimate at CEO in the crowds. Average age went from 25-40 to 15-20. And I had to move seats 3 fucking times because all they do is shout fucking memes over and over loudly.
