SFV - Legacy Controller random disconnect

Hey,
So I got problem. I feel like after Kolin’s update my Madcatz TE1 PS3 stick is randomly disconnecting from legacy mode. It can be 3 minutes, or 40 minutes and it just turns off. I don’t know if it’s because of the update or it’s quincidence but anyway It stopps working randomly on PS4. I have every options like shutting down etc. turned to never so It’s not battery or power issue. Any help ? I’m on PS4 btw.

Honestly, it seems to be one of those things that happens randomly. Many have said it could be because of the way Capcom implemented the driver, but I’m not sure if that’s really the issue. Based on what you said, this issue was basically non-existent before the Kolin update?

Yes, I can’t remember if the controller disconnected once before Kolin update, so that might be it. No news abut fixing it on any twitter from Capcom or something? It’s really sad I can’t honestly play the game. ;c

That sucks, man. I think you’d get a better answer by posting your topic here: http://forums.shoryuken.com/categories/tech-talk

It’s possible that the Tech Talk guys might have a solution for you. Hopefully it’ll become more stable for you.

I’ve had the same problem with my SfxT stick since launch. I doubt it actually has anything to do with how Capcom implemented the driver to be honest. It happens when I play Skullgirls too.

I used to think the disconnections were random too, but I noticed it happens every time my AC turns on/off. I live in an older house. If I play at my Brother-in-law’s place it never disconnects at all. His house was built about 2 years ago. Chances are, in my case at least, the problem is the older wiring in my house. Dunno if it’s the same with you but it’s a possibility.
