I don’t know if this a common occurrence, but the last two weeks, I have not been getting the EXP bonuses from the Extra Battles. Last week, I did the final Rashid challenge and the Bison challenge, and received no EXP increase to the character I used. Normally you see that notification after that you received the EXP and after those, I never saw it. So I went and checked the message log, as it always displays that information. Nope, not there and my character (Bison) hadn’t gained anything. Now this week, I did the Chun Li challenge and also didn’t receive the EXP that it says it gives upon completion. Now the two costume challenges, are only small EXP gains, but the thing that has pushed me over the edge is the Bison one. That thing cost me 7K FM to beat and it was supposed to give 10K EXP, and it didn’t give me squat. Has anyone else seen this?

I thought that after a day or so, that maybe it would just give the EXP if I waited on it. The first instance occurred on Feb. 9, and I haven’t seen anything.

You don’t get exp on the first completion of the challenge. Boss battles give you a special title on the first successful attempt and 10k exp per successful attempt there after. Costume battles give a costume piece as the first reward and 2500 exp there after.

Really? If this is actually true, Capcom needs to change their descriptions.
On the Chun Li challenge it reads: “Clear reward: Wind gem, 2500 EXP”, meaning you SHOULD get both.
As for the Boss challenges, I refuse to believe that we’re supposed to pay crazy amounts for a title the first time, only to get the EXP if you beat it afterwards. That’s actually a terrible, and unrewarding challenge mechanic.

It this is a thing, why is no one upset about this? That’s the last boss battle I ever touch if that’s the case. For the amount you put in, you get literally nothing out of it the first time around. Makes no sense.
