I’m scared of Bison being too good 
Me too. People are generally intolerant of evil dictators being too good. It sends the wrong message to the kids, and that forces companies to cut them down to size because they feel morally obligated too.
Akuma can get away with it because nobody cares about an angry troll in a cave on a remote island in the pacific. But Bison, Bison is just easy to love. Just ask any of the hundreds of thousands of loyalists and operatives he has the world over. He’s charming, sophisticated, and with a killer smile to sweeten the deal - literally, he kills with a smile. He’s already excellent in every way but tiers. This is why Capcom are walking on egg shells when it comes to his gameplay. Hopefully they finally strike the balance in S2, where he is good enough to take over the world (of competitive street fighting), but bad enough to keep the tier whores, fairweather pro players, and youtube whiners at bay.
Naw we bison players just got excited thats all… It’s all smoke and mirrors… he still is slow as shit with no overhead, unsafe forward moving specials and bad defense… don’t fear it, embrace it.
tfw Laura is finally good but then everyone will play Bibson because he’s better at doing the same thing.
What’s up with Ryu?
Kinda hard to be better at the same with no overhead or command grab. Hes just better at being Bison now. Hes still going to struggle with down back, just not as much.
Hes been in the struggle long enough. He deserves to be complained about
Nerfs, although supposedly his v trigger gives him some frame data buffs and the second hit of his b+hk is cancelable.

The damage of that Combo is lower than her BnB, what did that? 10%?
I wonder if slide vtc with chun is the same or nerfed. That was the other biggest complaint about her.

edit: LPN’s report might not be very accurate, at least concerning the characters he doesn’t play. He says Ryu didn’t change much but Samurai (a Ryu main) listed a lot of significant changes for him.
Ryu is slower but in v trigger he is faster than before
His normal fireball recovery is a lot slower now so that’s good but in vtrigger he is very scary.
