Since I’m hoping Karin will be announced, I’m hoping they give her an alt that isn’t the schoolgirl costume. That’s all I really want to see at this point in time.
I’d be shocked if they didn’t give her an alt that WASN’T that, but that doesn’t mean it has to be the only alt. It can just be 1 of 4 or 5.
Karin will get a outfit that would reinforce her Ojou archetype. Give her some sort of elegant fighting gear
I was actually picturing her having something along the lines of what Lili from Tekken has, to be honest.
Has to still be practical though, that’s the issue. If you look at what Karin wears it’s a school girl outfit on top but it’s still got some practicality to it for martial arts. She wears shorts and a sports bra similar to what you’d see in MMA or P.E. in schools. She is wearing shoes with something that looks like it’s designed to brace your ankles, and she has cloves with padded knuckles and wrist support.
Cammy’s new face makes her look so gosh darn adorable, haha. Wonder if it’s a new default, or tied to that alt costume.

But…aren’t people saying R. Mika is closer to Hakan’s style of play which means we may need a Hakan alt.
Also, guys hoping to generate hate against her by comparing poor, sweet Mika to El Fuerte needs to stahp.

Can’t think of much since I don’t know the whole roster yet, but those Chun-Li police outfits sound nice and I’d think it would be obvious to swap R. Mika and Nadeshiko’s models.
No just swap the costumes and maybe hairstyle. Mika’s model is better overall.
Both Chun Li’s and Cammy’s turned out pretty nice.
It’s just… that’s the whole point of her regular costume. Unless people are now trying to say it’s not for show and that a thong and boob window somehow provide a tactical advantage in a fight…
Cammy her face looks too innocent and cute, exactly how Japanese like their women(generalization, but still). I preferred cammy her old face where it was more angular and eyes were smaller, it showed off a look of determination. Though her old face did have duck lips and didn’t have eyelashes which made it look a bit wierd. I do like her new look a lot, it’s definately more polished also…but too “cute” imo.
Agreed… I loved Cammy’s face in Beta. It definitely gave her a bit of personality. Not a huge fan of the face on the alt, so I’m hoping that it’s just for that one. Not that I dislike the alt, definitely preordering at Best Buy to get it.
I know I’m in the minority here, but I loved Rose’s gypsy-like costume from SF4, I hope that returns if she’s in this game
