Cool costumes, however Ryu his beard looks pasted on. The guy who always screams on the forums for Ryu needing a beard is probably having a seizure because of this “awesomeness”.
I absoluty hate pre-orders initiatives. These costumes will eventually be earnable ingame anyway. Biggest reason i hate it is because the are most given to shops i that are overpriced and terrible customer support.
Agree that it would have ben nice to see chun in a interpol uniform.
I imagine costumes will only be purchasable with real money.
The idea I think is to make everything gameplay related available just by playing, but costumes are extras.

The Cammy one reminds me a LOT of Jak from Jak & Daxter which I think is Sony owned, so…maybe a reference to that?

Funny enough we were talking about HNK inspired costumes earlier in the thread, and lo and behold we get KenshiRyu and M.Raoh. I didn’t even consider playing Ryu in SF5 until I saw the new costume.
I really hope they keep with the character themes for future costumes. At least 80% of the time. Having costumes that show different sides of the character is the way to go.
I remember Capcom saying that all the classic SF costumes will be available, I presume these will be made available with the game or soon after launch. Hopefully we get Alpha Chun, Alpha Cammy, and Alpha Bison (cape!) costumes.
Did anyone else notice that they changed cammys face? I guess due to the outcry in japan of people saying she looked ugly.
Not sure if that’s just a costume thing but I doubt it, her eyes are bigger and bluer and her face is a little more like her SFIV counter-part
They made her look younger and her musculature has been softened. It would be a pity if this carries over to her main costume, she is much more interesting as a hardened soldier than as another underage pseudo-fan service.
Chun’s looks different too. Idk, I think they both look better than current.
