I like Ken’s new look and moveset, definitely makes him and Ryu completely different and not just similar shoto clones like in SF4.
Now waiting for Capcom to reveal Akuma…

I hope a new character is like nina from sfxt except with more combos. I liked her design in that game.
Thing is this game has no ground bounces aND doesn’t seem juggle heavy so those archetypes would have to be modified quite a bit.

Now that’d just be insulting if R Mika was changed into an MMA fighter and Karin was left out.
You know guys, I’m starting to think that the reason why we haven’t seen Karin for so long was not only because it wasn’t a Capcom original character
I also suspect that the same guy who created Karin for that Alpha comic has been contracted by Namco, or they reached out to him through capcom
Reason why I am thinking about this is because Lili from Tekken and Karin from Alpha 3 are essentially the same character
- They are both wearing these fancy clothes
- they both are from rich families
- they both have this annoying laugh when they kinda cover their mouth with the hand
- they both have an arrogant and kinda selfish attitude
- they both have a rival within the same universe they come from (Karin vs Sakura , Lili vs Asuka). Notice that both Sakura and Asuka are students in a school, as well as both characters have kinda self taught martial arts style resembling the protagonist (Sakura - Ansatsuken , Asuka - Kazama Style Karate)
So, basically I think since Ono and Harada are friends IRL, it’s the quite possible that Ono contacted Harada and the original Karin creator to include her in SF5 (wishful thinking here, but what if?), also this would explain why we saw both Asuka and Lili in a team in SFxTekken, but Sakura was teamed up with Blanka ,not Karin ,despite some of the characters appearing in a Street Fighter game for the first time since like forever (rolento, Hugo, Guy, Cody , Elena, dudley, poison)
What do you guys think of this?
To be honest I think she should have the same outfit. I kinda liked it.
But if they really want to change it a bit, they could give her something more casual? Don’t know.
We will get classic costumes for everyone anyway eventually.

The only thing in common with the teased character and necro is the shape of the nose. Unless necro grew dreadlocks and became more human…so nope.
Necro has a long nose. This guy has a flat nose that is more similar to Akuma’s nose.
Wouldn’t be the first time capcom changed a characters looks.
What if she something similar to this?
With the Brazil stage, the renovations they go for each char, the likeness of his face features and Ono’s love for him, I won’t be surprised if that char we see is human Blanka.
Maybe he’s Remy. You know, Capcom changes character’s looks
