They could use her to test the waters and seeing if newcomers are open to a new Rival Schools game.

I’m with you, I’d love so see Akira in. I remember when I was like…8 or 9 years old I saw a rival schools arcade machine and some dude playing her, and thought she looked amazing. I don’t really see her being in the game but hypothetically if she made it, holy FUCK. Imagine that design on the SFV graphics engine.

Final Bosses are usually revealed with or after stuff about the story is revealed. This is done to give them context as they are usually new characters.

I sincerely doubt this guy is a boss or even a subboss. He’s just a new fighter with eyes like a puppy dog.

I wouldn’t mind a x tekken Christie type of character come to think of it one of my favorite things about x tekken is how unique the tekken side felt some of that stuff was unlike anything I had ever seen, Steve for example was a boxer but he played unlike any other boxer character.

I’d love something similar to SFxT Tekken Heihachi. He was fun to use. As I’ve seen someone mentioned Jin’s fireballs, they’d be cool to see again

As for Tiffany, though, I have to say there aren’t many differences between her and Rainbow Mika, so I’d give her a shot

If I could pick someone else apart from Akira, Kyosuke has an awesome and neat look, and he’s not far away from what we saw in SFIII with Remy. Also, Roy, mainly because of his fighting style, but I don’t think he fits much in Street Fighter.

A stance character like Gen would be great here I think. His V-Skill could just be switching between them and you could special cancel between them, leading to good combos. Definitely a lot more approachable, which seems to be what Capcom is going for this time around.

Agreed that Gen should stay dead though. Like the character, but he should’ve died like… 5 times already.

I won’t speak in absolutes, but I’m fairly certain there’ll be a boxer character of some sort. Every SF game has had a playable Boxer character (minus SF1 but that only had Ryu and Ken). Now the question is: Is it Balrog, Is it Dudley, or is it someone new?

Urien’s trigger being the reflector seems appropriate, kind of like how Nash’s trigger is his teleport. I definitely could get behind that.

Well, we disagree
I see Shoma (short but ripped dude with giant baseball bat), Hayato (muscle dude with a bamboo “sword”), Kurow(ninja with steel claw gloves) and Gan/Daigo (huge muscle mountains) as more legit SFers than any lil schoolgirl, be it Akira or even Sakura herself

Roberto is kinda a joke, but i will still prefer him being fun doing soccer tricks into the brazilian stage rather than see Akira do her lil anime fighter girl thing in SFV

Kyosuke is kinda superskinny jap cold wannabe cool, send him and Remy to KoF, iirc people like them there can still kick ass

Roy is a good pick (as Batsu, of course), but with Ken in he will be kinda redundant… and if we ever need somebody like that, Cody can cover that role 99 times better

Glad we can all agree on Tiffany, big boobs bring positivity

Curious i did the same question to myself yesterday, writing that i hope new (Maori?) dude is a boxer

Well SF1 not playable but had Mike wich was a boxer, just no gloves… even if later they said they’re 2 different character he was basically casual clothes Rog

SFA is the exception
No boxer until SFA3, no pure wrestler until SFA2

[list][] Hayato is nothing but a big Japanese p.ed. teacher stereotype. Plus, his gameplay isn’t that great. Definitely don’t think he fits on Street Fighter.
[] Kurow is a sort of Mary Sue bishonen guy, with not actual martial arts style.
[] Gan I just can’t believe, he sort of breaks Street Fighter logics being three times the size of Zangief while still a student. Simply don’t think so.
[] Daigo, well, the student outfit and his age pretty much ostractizes him compared to the Street Fighter cast (most of them full-time fighters).
[*] Akira not a simple “anime fighter”, she has that cool biker persona and outfit (never seen in Street Fighter), a “pure fighter” background, and a well developed actual martial arts style… I certainly see not much differences between her and Ibuki, or Makoto or Karin.
