SFV Character Request/Anticipation Thread

Even mike could return could make him like street type boxing thug we have LACK OF BOXERS in sf universe. and they could rename him like mike john, mike santos, mike dun, micheal, mikey or whatsoever like that. then morph his face a bit and make his body thinner build to differentiate him and avoid confusion from balrog/boxer like they been doing that to birdie and also like they did to RYU to differentiate him from GUY.

Mike’s been back. He goes by Balrog now.

Not really he was supposed to be it was not and became a separate entity.

If they brought him back now, that would only confused Japanese players, who know Balrog as M. (Mike) Bison

Don’t come back for Street Fighter V.

Makoto and Dudley are two of my all time favorite Street Fighter characters. I would love to see them again, especially after Makoto was woefully under represented in SF4.

Ibuki I don’t mind leaving though.

I’ve mentioned it before but I just think that Makoto would work really well in SFV. The way the system works right now I think her pokes, pressure and grab game would make her really fun.

I’m also completely disagreeing with his 5% for Sakura. She is a mainstay character in SF. She is one of Capcom’s flagship characters that they put on most of their merchandise. She is one of the most popular characters in SF (Ranking 6th in all of the Capcom polls) she has appeared in most of their cross over games as well. CVS, Pocket Fighter, MVC, Puzzle Fighter, ect. I’m not saying she’s got a great shot, they might want to give her a rest, but she’s got a much better shot than 5% just by sheer popularity by the public and Capcom.

No, no, no, no and no. This would be the third shoto character in the game. Ryu and Ken is enough already. Either you take away hadoken, shouoken and shippukyaku from her, or don’t include her in the roster at all. And she doesn’t have anything other than copycats of Ryu’s special moves. She’s a bland schoolgirl fetish character that sells only because of her red panties shining from under the skirt from time to time. Feel free to disagree with me.

Make her play like her CvS2 version instead. Hadousho instead of Hadouken and then give her back her divekick.

Actually he have a kinda boss look, but i doubt they will reveal the boss so soon… he’s more likely a random badass or maybe a sub-Boss like was Sagat for Dictator

About the leak list with si-kwon and rival schools characters. I don’t think it’s accurate since there is no mention of Brazilian characters. Ono showed Brazil as one of the stages.

The leak list had these accurate first releases Ryu Chun Li Nash Bison Cammy Birdie… But so far I haven’t found any link to the original post saying this BEFORE they were announced. Last I could find was from 10 days ago.

EX Series will never happen. ~3~ wish people would stop asking for it. I think people ask for it because they can’t get it. I bet most people haven’t even played the EX Series that ask.

To be honest i find EX cast underrated as fuck

C.Jack, D.Dark, Vulcano Rosso, Pullum, Garuda, Skullo, Darun (even if i prefer later evolution in Hakan), Hokuto, and Hayate were all decent to very good SF designs

Even Sharon was’nt that bad, and i’m counting out good ones as Kairi (2nd design) and Allen being guilty of shoto look

I wouldn’t mind a x tekken Christie type of character come to think of it one of my favorite things about x tekken is how unique the tekken side felt some of that stuff was unlike anything I had ever seen, Steve for example was a boxer but he played unlike any other boxer character.

A stance character like Gen would be great here I think. His V-Skill could just be switching between them and you could special cancel between them, leading to good combos. Definitely a lot more approachable, which seems to be what Capcom is going for this time around.
