They could give more buffs to her Feng Shui Engine other than combo chains, nearly everyone has something a powered up mode due to V-Trigger, I feel like they can add more stuff to make FSE stand out more.
Something closer to SF4 OVA perhaps. I’d expect bigger projectiles, and different properties to her moves (like her EX counter in Omega, for example), it’d be pretty insane if they did it.
Yeah I know >__>… I guess it’s just that other than Nash, every other character doesn’t interest me as much in the currently revealed cast. I still have high hopes that this will change, though.
I’d be fine with an FSE V-Trigger that works as it does in SF4. Combos off of overhead, links become chains, certain moves that never followed up do and a new dash.
I think Juri v-trigger should definitly be FSE but reworked as for her v-skill kasatushi will work just fine, hope her CA to be something different from kaisen dairaku.
juri should be able to store as many fireballs as she wants. or at least more than once. and the release command should be separated.
qcf to store, qcb to release. its ridiculous juri can’t tech once she stores the only good fireball. mk cant hit crouchers, hk has a terrible angle that is often jumped over anyway.
give her a new super art, u2 has terrible range and can’t AA, her super has 3 different versions for no good reason. just give her a senpusha super cinematic.
dunno about vskill, but i dont like counter for it. i want something actually useful so that we can build fse properly. how about making her vskill her dive kick.
She needs to be reworked in SF4 her U2 is shit as hell, and every special attack is punishable even her ex, she has been nerfed in every version of SF4 and that is why dispite that her pupularity she is not picked too much
Some of those have been removed, jabs don’t link to stuff anymore from what we’ve heard. Also the meaty setups only work if opponent doesn’t tech or back tech, sweep isn’t a hard knockdown anymore if you remember.
With the system changes in place I’m hoping Guy makes it in eventually. He’d be one of the only characters with hit confirm from light attacks with his bushin chain, plus he has a wide variety of useful normals. It’d be awesome to have his closeHK and HP as command normals
I hope you’re not implying that Juri is bad in USF4. Juri is NOT a bad character in Ultra.
Except that Juri’s fireball game is great. You get a free fireball store off of a block string and you can cancel the store by letting go of the button during another action, thus allowing yourself the ability to tech a throw. By mixing up lk and mk fireballs, I’ve won countless fireball wars against shotos (Poison is another story).
That said, I’m welcome to a new playstyle in SFV for Juri.
I thought Ramlethal was supposed to be really good early on then got nerfed to average? I haven’t kept up with peoples views on her though TBH.
That’d be surprising if it’s a reveal of a character, might be a new stage or something. Just tempering peoples expectations since it’s been heavily hinted that there will already be a reveal at Pax Prime this week and Games 15 is only 2 weeks later. I mean they did reveal Vega only 2 weeks after Necalli so who knows.
Her fireball game is just ok, you can zone pretty good, that being said her fuhajin damage is low, and its EX version needs to be speed up at least her LK fuhajin release, look at Ryu, Ken, Chun, Guile, Sakura, Poison, Sagat etc… they all have their EX Fireball really fast with Juri you cant punish a lot of things that you normaly can with any other characters not to mention that her lack of reversals or scape options.
Dont get me wrong she is not bad character she is just weak, in order to win with her you really need to be very familiar with all her moves.
