SFV AE randomly crashing to desktop

Ever since the update, the game will crash randomly and often to desktop meaning I have to reboot the game and lose any progress I was making, be it Survival, Arcade mode and most annoyingly online matches. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and what I can do to fix this? It’s really frustrating. Never had an issue like this before with the game.

Win 10 64-bit
Intel i5 2500K @ 3.3Ghz
8GB RAM
AMD R9 390 8GB
No firewalls other than the standard Windows protection

do you have a wacom or any other drawing tablet connected? this will make the game crash around every 8 minutes.

Yes! It was exactly that. I managed to get some answers elsewhere but I appreciate your input. For anyone that might come across this in the future, what I did/you have to do is: disable the Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service. A quick google and you’ll find out how to do that. Everything seems to be fine now.
