So I totally got this yesterday at my local comic store. I freaked out and Roll Canceled and Shouoken’ed my way to the shelf.
I can’t wait for next month.

Nice issue. Not as many back references as the first issue though.
The only thing that bothers me was that I always thought Mika was some sort of Zangief mega-fangirl, but she hasn’t really acted much like it in this book.
Oh well, Dan at the bus stop was funny though.
Maybe we’ll see a Street Fighter Legends: Rainbow Mika on her story of mutation into Hugo?

Picked it up today, fun issue, Dan getting beat up by Ken & Ryu was priceless:tup:
I wonder if Dan trying to get on the bus was a homage to Capcom Fighting Jam.
the only thing with Dan getting on the Bus scene is that in Japan people get on the bus from the back door and not the front door as shown in the comic and like people do in America
I finally picked it up. I thought it was a great issue.
I had quite a few LOL moments. The insane Juggling of Dan combo was classic. The banishing flat was funny too.
Keep up the great Work Omar! The art is looking fantastic!

#5 has been in printer like 3 weeks now. The problem with #5 is that Diamond need to do “order adjustment” coz the book is out of the shipping window and they need retailers to verify their orders before they can send us a purchase order. We shall be getting the PO this coming week and will get the book to Diamond right after.
#6 all pencils are done and we are going thru inks and colors now. It is resolicited for December catalog so it will be out before x-mas.
As for the much anticipated Power Foils - we have a problem with the first printing that the printer gave us (long story short, our printer changed the manager and the new person doesnt know what to do and made a mistake). We are now going thru reprinting.
Thanks for letting us all know, we appreciate it.
I hope all these delays will be fixed soon as many of us readers are thinking maybe we should just wait for the TPB, which would only hurt you guys and us in the long run

I think you need to “drop the elbow” on your printer. They’ve been pissing you around for awhile now. Hopefully they aren’t making you re-pay for all their screwups.

The printer situation is one thing, and Alvin’s schedule is another. I know some would complain that Alvin is taking so long to produce a book, but the SF book is like our baby (and yours too probably!) and we do want to do our best to give you the best. You will like issue 5 - DOLLS FIGHT!! and PSYCHO CRUSHER!
And we will have some news for 2007 soon, that I think a lot of you will definately be pleased. No, Alvin is not gonna get any faster, but we will be doing something that I know I have been wanting to do a long time and a lot of you has been waiting for a long time…
