Instead of getting so mad and accusing eachother of shit that neither of you can prove, how about you just assume it was an real DC and not the other guy pulling the plug. Real DC’s do happen you know, especially if one of you are on wireless.
That settles it then. You can’t back up your claims with any proof whatsoever, and you fail to CREATE some proof by having a match with me and actually winning. The chances of me losing against you were already slim, seeing as I’ve only actually met 1 person who stands a remote chance against me on the PS3 version of SFIV. Raifik playing as Goukin. You however, never stood a chance at all. Did you dc? No idea, did it look like you dc’d? Yes. Was it an actual legitimate dc? Probably not. That’s the way I see it. I’m not trying to be a jackass or anything, but don’t sit here accusing me of dc’ing when I blatantly didn’t. There’s only 2 things that could’ve happened. You dc’d OR you legitimately lost connection. I was never signed out of the PSN, so I never lost connection at all.

I can understand that. I can see both sides of the argument.
I’m just saying, both of you keep claiming the other one purposely disconnected, and neither of you have any proof to back it up. - Now, this happens all the time and at first you both might have assumed that the other one ditched… - I think if you guys both are claiming you didn’t purposely disconnect then you have a few options:
1.) You can bitch and moan and talk shit about the other person until the end of time, and never get anywhere.
2.) You can both assume that your opponent coincidentally disconnected. Give them the benefit of the doubt and not play with them again.
3.) You can both assume that your opponent coincidentally disconnected, and have a legit rematch and win or lose with dignity.

If you’re anything like me you would rather loose a match 1,000 times instead of losing your dignity and integrity.
Disconnects do happen sometimes, especially if people are on wireless internet or if they just have a slow and shitty connection. - When all is said and done, the person that pulls their connection to avoid a loss will have to live it down.
I just started learning to play with a stick last week and i’ve been losing a ton to people who i don’t think are any better strategically than i am. But if i lose, i lose for a reason. Even if i think i’m a decent intermediate player, my opponent played better for me for that one round or one match, and i take the loss and move on.
So, i think you are both wrong.
Magneto; you shouldn’t impugn someone’s integrity unless you have proof to back it up. If he did pull the connection, it sucks a bit, but get over it. If he says that he honestly didn’t do it then give him the benefit of the doubt, and have a rematch or just avoid him.
Tehyeh; sometimes people online talk shit, sometimes its true, sometimes it isn’t. Make your point and get over it. If you honestly didn’t pull the plug because you were losing then, make your case and ignore him. If you really didn’t do it, then all you can do is ignore him and find solace in the fact that you know that you didn’t do anything wrong.
You guys can both claim that you are the best players in the world or whatever, and maybe the EVO finals will be Magneto VS. Tehyeh… idk… And if that is the case, than no plugs can be pulled. - Only each of you know if you did or didn’t pull the plug.
Online casuals mean nothing. BP isn’t a measure of a players skill. If you play online you are going to have to deal with plug pullers. Tough shit. You can just laugh it off and make them look like chumps. When people pull the plug on me when im about to win i just laugh it off and send them a nice little message through PSN. - I know in my heart when i truly win and lose. Pulling the plug on a match isn’t going to erase the fact that you played worse than your opponent.
Just had some horrible matches with some dudes I added from SRK. I apologize for the pitiful display. I knew something was going wrong when I couldn’t even perform Akuma’s aerial fireballs properly -_-

He picks Gief, I pick Fei. I lose this fight obviously; but all he did was block and lariat, I couldn’t time the HKs and ate it. (I’ll be honest and admit I told him some shit that maybe I shouldn’t have) but we end up in player matches, he says he has skill (I told him he didn’t) he picks Fuerte, I go Cammy and roll his spammage Fuerte to death.
After which I get a bunch of different weird and almost pointless messages…bleh?
Nah, not hating at all. Just don’t like being falsely accused. But at the same time, he probably doesn’t either. All I know is what I experienced, and the same could be said for him. I’m going to take Kajiki’s advice and just assume it was an actual disconnect, instead of pointing fingers. I’ll even ask nicely, Magneto, would you kindly share a rematch with me?
