So I reply telling him of the disconnect, and challenge his ass to a rematch if he’s game. He agrees. I enter his game and proceed to whomp his ass…

His Gouki didn’t land a single clean hit on my chun in 2 rounds, frankly, with his skill level I expected +1bp for the win. But at the end of the last round, rage quit strikes. I messaged him, ‘What sort of bp are you trying to protect with those skills? You won’t beat any decent player anyway.’
To wit, he replies, ‘shut ur fuckn mouth i dnt even know wat ur sayin stop speakn nerd.’

o yeah cool modine droped on me twice the other day. and a few other random droppers not worth mentioning. i see how coolmodine has points now.
also on a different occasion against someone else i sat at the vs. screen once after we selected our chars for like a minute and a half before i had to reset. didnt even get a user has been disconnected message. it just sat there and did nothing. i thought that was odd. that ever happen to anyone else?

I got a lot of DCs last night, but mostly during the game intro or after a couple of matches. The servers were whack last night! Anyone else experience that?
Not to defend all the rage quitters, but I noticed a lot of disconnects in general. Especially in between rounds. I don’t think every rage quitter is a disconnect. I’ve been disconnected from a few matches, that I was bound to lose. In between matches it just disconnects. I make sure to email the player saying I didn’t quit and that he had a good game, but I think to prevent lag, you see a lot of disconnects on PSN.

Oh, I played him and it was a good match… I thought it was wierd a Dan player having 5700bp but he stayed till the end. I even gaves him props in the good games thread :wonder:. If he is a dropper that 128 bp I took off him must’ve hurt.

Maybe if you DC’d during an ultra, or when I stunned you, it would have been more convincing. But going neutral then connection lost? DEFINITE DC.
