Yeah, I had a couple rage quits in ranked, but I think my biggest problem was from some d-bag Setsuna427.
I really don’t know what his deal was. It was un-ranked, and I was dicking around with claw and gief for no real reason, and then, after round 2, the game started hacking up 7 frames per second, and his Gouki was just jumping backwards with his air fireball and tossing out his hcb p ball 'til demon was up.
He managed to beat be, which I expected (I can’t do balls for anything with Zangief with even moderate lag), and he wasn’t really that awful, but I felt like letting him know that his net was bad for me and it was unfortunate we had to meet under the circumstances.
“LUL stfu scrub fuck. Get off your period and accept the loss bitch!!1!” etc. . .

Bad game ninous54… This guys honda was pretty good at first, took the first round from me pretty easy, but then I figured he was on a loop worse than the easiest level cpu, got the knockdown and worked my mixup on him for 45% health everytime before he could get back up. In the last round he was with 25% hp left, i had 40% and it looked in the bag… “Connection has been lost with the other player” **.
But still, the game was pretty close, so i messaged him. I said “Nice Honda, gg… v.dishonourable though with the plug pull… but w/e, those points don’t mean anything”
His response was, “chut up children of bitch…”, a little indelicate to say the least :shy:.
Wish i had some way to screencap these idiots for posterity.
The only disconnect I’ve gotten so far was I was playing my Guile against this Sagat user. First round I almost perfected him and suddenly my screen paused, then I got the “connection lost with host” message. I was like “whoa, what just happened” because there was no lag at all. He didn’t even TRY to mount a comeback in the 2nd round, he just quit before the match even started more or less! So I guess it was a disconnect? Strangely enough, no hate mail!
i played a guy randomly in ranked last night, beat his ass, then i got him randomly in ranked again, picked seth this time, got perfected the first round (stupid seth 4 hit dizzy) and then it disconnected us before the start of the second round. Of course the guy thought I rage quit/dropped on him and sent me a message stating as much.
I think the only time we can be pretty certain of a scrub quit is if someone is getting their ass kicked, stops in the middle of the match, then disconnects. The shit between rounds is more of a glitch that just happens all the time (at least to me).

Ive had 2 ragequitters in the past few days, and we were playing NON RANKED matches! LOL
Both times they quit as soon as they lost the 2nd round and before the screen could go to the trophy screen to tally the loss.
Dropping counts as a loss.
If they quit after the announcer says K.O. it counts as a loss to them and win for you. (If they drop it’s only a loss for them and you get nothing).

Grandoc - Guy sucks, match was so quick I forgot what he used/did. But one thing’s for sure, he DC’d pretty swiftly once he saw the first round ownage.

TopherRage - I let him hit me with an overhead, and he just sweeps. Huge Balrog scrub, got mad when I uppercutted him to death.
