I retracted what I stated. That makes sense though, but for me there’s nothing more statisfying than taking someone out in a tournament. Especially if there’s a grudge. I guess for me giving someone a dose of humility > Taking money.
Man I am feeling hella pressured for the next tournament!! Will I be able to be consistent? Or am I a one-trick pony?!?! We’ll see what happens w/o 2 weeks of practice. But I am really trying my best to make it out to the next tournament.
Wow. I missed a lot of hate in the past few days. Seems everyone misinterpreted what everyone else said and things got heated and got personal.
First of all: To those who have beef with me, talk to me in person either at Zach’s on friday or PM me or something. Everyone seems tense and coiled to strike right now, and it’s still reflecting poorly on our scene. If I’m the sole cause of all this, I’ll try and apologize to everyone that wants one and just not talk to those who aren’t interested in settling things. But if you have beef with me, please just don’t take it out on other people. Deal with me. Especially if you’re insistent on having beef with me. How can you have such a strong opinion of someone you’ve never even tried to know?
Mike, I have no clue what’s going on right now, and I still would rather just settle all of this in person. I still like HeavyD’s idea. Let’s do a money match for dinner or something and just talk things over.
Frank- I have no clue. Are you remotely interested in settling things? I just get the feeling like you’ve never liked me and understand if you don’t want to change things.
I’ll see about coming down to the narrows the day after Zach’s. I’ll just work it out as the week goes on.
P.S.) Don’t take half my posts seriously. I’m usually just playfully sarcastic, but I see how it gets misread so often. Also, I’m wrong 20% of the time, and I’ll admit it if you tell me how I’m wrong. watching me play against Seth, and i guess he realy likes SF4, but hadnt seen
anybody beat it before. I got a lucky win with my new found 'Gief character by jumping in with no life and getting a random ex Glow palm FTW. Trust me when i say this dudes level of excitement surpassed most of Manny’s tekken outbursts!! We high fived and were like " SWEET/ YEAH DUDE!!!"

First off. I’ve talked to my gf about this a lot the last few days. I still get mines, even when she calls me a nerd.
Secondly, I’ve used this analogy a lot.

The drama beef is dumb, but were all just reppin our own scene. Like the seahawks and sonics suck, but people still root for them. Our top players are always gonna be our picks. Its just the way it is. The only way to settle it is to play. And not everyone can call out from work and roll to another country to prove a point. The battles will happen. Its inevidable. Just practice hard cuz who knows when the time will arise.
