Mike, I agree with your assessment. I really think that, it’s suicidal to start the round with rushdown, when Akuma has such little life…it almost seems like, you should take away a chunk of their life from range before even attempting to fight up close, so that overall you have “equal” life, aka, you can each survive 3 Bread and butter combos or so without dying, as opposed to Akuma only surviving less than two mistakes if he immediately rushes.
I also found out how BOMB his teleports are, I’ll be abusing the fuck out of those later, hopefully. I really think I need to work on my combos, getting my DPs out (Seriously, I NEVER use shotos so it’s hard to remember I have DPs!).
Also I am wondering how Akuma’s DP compares to Ryu and Ken’s, cus it seems IMO that is sucks balls, trading like a motherfucker…am I doing it too late or too early or something? I honestly dunno what the proper range is.
All I can say is, I feel Akuma has a LOOOT of potential, and that, I am having a fun ass time using him in this game. I probably could get a lot more wins with Bailrag, but he is soooo fucking boring to me in SFIV.

sounds like someone admitting there gonna lose/be defeated. so the better question is, why are you even gonna waste time playing someone for free when you know the victory is not yours? I know i wouldnt want to play someone i didnt like, when i knew i will squash them. SO why should mickey play you at all? put up money or even better, dont speak. I guess there’s a couple things I’m confused about concerning Jamie’s reply.
-He says he knows better than to money match someone that plays the game about 20x more than he does. Yet didn’t he money match Keith in marvel? At that point in time Keith was playing at least 2,3 times a week =/. Which is how much Mickey plays now.
-What is the point of a moneyless grudge match? Where’s the hype behind that?
Jamie hasn’t said he is better than Mike at SF4, nor has he said that he is even that good at SFIV. Jamie hasn’t said anything to or about Mike except to ask him to stop talking about him, which hasn’t happened.
Why so serious? We’re not talking some racist religious family history national imperial grudge here. But if grudges like that could be solved with a SF4 grudge match then that would be fucking bomb. SF4 saves the world.
Get hyped over something else you say Jamie? Here’s why I want this match to happen. If/when Mickey beats you I’m sure you wouldn’t post some of the more random shit you post. Which eventually leads to this…
