SFIV in Tacoma now!

Cool, thanks for the heads up! I think I will head down there around that time then.

Good, now I know I’m justified for going home and taking a nap after work. I still plan on heading to Narrows, just not sure about when I’m gonna wake up haha.

What uuuup Mike? Yeah, I never post…I’ll try to post more often

Perhaps I’ll come down with Dan, as he really wants to see the game as well.

I’ll probably head down sometime after 7. I’m bringing my girlfriend with me, so I can’t stay long, but some SF4 is better than none.

aye! does someone have pics of the SFIV setup they have there in Tacoma? I’m to go on a road trip in 2 weeks and play it, but the anticipation is killing me!

Not the best pic, but this should give you an idea. Gene (kusanagi) and ICD-3 in the pic!

Mandeeezzzyyyy! I was waiting on you so I could get some beastly comp mayne!!!

Good matches fella’s (not srk people but, I’m guessing you guys read here). \

I picked up Sagat for the first time, and started toying around with him and got 15 wins…and was like “damn, Sagat is mad buff.” He seems’ like he’s got that “God Tier’itis” where you can just pick him up if you know about fighting games, and just own shop with him…kinda reminds me of Cvs2 Sagat, Blanka Cammy, or 3s Ken, Chun…All these characters take half a brain to use…sure they have depth but you don’t need anything but good fundamentals to win. So yeah, thats my break down of Sagat in Street Fighter 4.

My bad Mickey. I was just tired out from the past couple days I had of work so I took it easy. When’s the next time you’ll be heading out there? Yeah you’re spot on about Sagat though. On the first night of SFIV, I had a 16 game win streak with Sagat because he’s monstrous. Your win streak was probably more epic than mines was as you can SADC hahah.

Haha, thanks.

Trace throws a hadouken, the third installment to the alread epic “Trace Prewitt Bowls A Strike” and my personal favorite “Trace Prewitt New High Score”

I don’t want to look over and see you trying to copy my bowling form.

EDIT: And look at this fool, trying to break my record.

Good games to Trace, Mickey, and the other peeps. I recorded a few Trace matches, so expect those to go online real soon! Crazy SA-GAT! Mickey, I was definitely impressed by your play. You need to turtle more, and you’re responsible for my right hand feeling like shit. Because against your Ken I was charging turnaround punch for HELLLLLLLLLLLA long and you never threw a fireball. You would just keep jumping at me. After a while of waiting I just gave up and threw it out, then you threw me afterwards. So thanks. The fact that turnaround punch is hard to charge without hurting your hands, like almost makes me wanna stop using Balrog hahah. Despite her nastiness, I’m still lovin Chun though haha.

Definitely the best competition I’ve played as far as SF4 goes. Trace, you’re Sagat is MEAN! You’ve definitely got the SA after the dragon punch down…just a little more practice and I’m sure you’re gonna hit that shit 100%…You’re the ONLY player i’ve ever had to play that would do (when I block): dp, SADC, throw.

Mandel, you’ve got some VERY good fundamentals man. Very patient player and very good at being able to control the pace of the match. You know how to play the matches right as far as who you’re playing against…I had a fun time trying to get you. OH and that perfect on my Ken! Seriously man, I had no heart of the card there.

Thanks for the advice Mandel. You’re right, I wasn’t playing very patiently. I notice myself not playing the match ups to how I’m supposed to. I focused most of my time trying to learn the execution part of the game…as far as SADC’s go. But now, I think I’m going to work strongly on my fundamentals, like staying patient, not getting to eager jumping in, anti air’ing all the time, etc.

I almost feel as if, YOU focused on the fundamentals part of this game, and I focused on the execution part of the game…I think you were the smarter one lol.

I just remembered that match we had, where you did strong, fierce, fierce dp, saving attack dash during the 2nd hit, ultra with Ken. And the fuckin ultra hit me for every single hit. That was fucked up.

hahahah, I think that if you time it JUUUSTTT right, you’ll get all hits. You have to wait for the opponent to drop a little bit more then usual…But this is all just a guess.

you need it to hit with the very first part of the shinryuken… not any of the later hits, that way you will get all the hits. It may even work after a super…

I’m heading down tonight to play with a friend. He doesn’t play street fighter so I don’t think we will be down there very long, but if anyone feels like heading down and meeting up, post up or give me a call.

I’d call people up, but I don’t think I’m going to be there very long.

I really want to go tonight, someone should pick me up from the eastside woo yeah woo!

Dash Cancel Edit: I’m omw down to hell…the things i do for SF =[

So my friend bailed on me (Its not a big suprise) but I feel like going down and playing anyway.

So if anyone wants to play, I’m going to head down, and I’ll probably be there for awhile.
