Paulee and Jamie are both still a big part of the Seattle scene. SF4 and one post aren’t going to change years worth of gaming and driving farther then anyone else to come to almost every gaming night held that I’ve been at. That’s more dedication then a lot of people have put in who live a lot closer. That is not a jab at anyone. I am just constantly amazed at how far they drive and how often they show up. It takes a lot of effort.
^Who’s to say that the people who live closer don’t have that same level of dedication =/? Cause they’re fortunate enough to live closer to Seattle?

but that is because you are the epicenter…i’m sure its been awhile since you have had a long spell of no gaming…I personally would drive hours for ANYTHING I am passionate for. I remember months of not playing cvs2…I would do a 2 hour bus ride to your house to be told to learn marvel…point of the matter is that A LOT of people do crazy things for things they love, games being no different.

What’s this about repping the Seattle scene? You guys have NEVER recognized me as part of the Seattle scene, don’t be playing this shit off like it was big news that I go to BC I’ve been going there LONG before I even entered the Seattle scene.

I disagree Mike. You can definitely be a part of two scenes and hold two different opinions. And I don’t think Jamie and Paulee being a part of the SF4 scene in BC because of convience makes them comparable to LTB, from what I’ve heard.
I know your not about hate. I’ve just seen a lot hate from various people directed towards two people who four months ago we all consider friends, and who I still consider friends, and its over a game and a hundred miles, and I don’t think its cool.

… or you can drive to Gameworks at 2 hours less and face scrubbier people who might be more your level. I’ve never been to Narrows (ever): that doesn’t make me a bad person. I just realize that it’s going to be a major commitment if I’m going to go. And frankly if it’s so much better there in terms of competition… I’m not ready for that anyways. I’ll go at some point to check it out, hopefully, but with a console release around the corner — it’s not the end of the world.
Hence my comment about getting laid: I couldn’t date a girl who lived in Tacoma. Maybe thats the difference between you and me…I never considered Jamie or Paullee friends…I consider people who I talk too friends. I consider people that i have conversations with ASIDE from games friends…People that I would be cool to hangout with FRIENDS.
You, Zach, Mandel, Cole, Ian, Nolan, Korean Frank, Frankdadank, Julian Blake…there are so many who I consider as friends (I’m sorry if I didn’t list you, there seriously is about 30 people)…I mean, I don’t even talk to Zach too much, however I consider him a friend instead of an acquaintance mainly because I think we’ve had some sort of bond or relationship where I can talk to him about LIFE OUTSIDE OF GAMES.
The same people that have been giving me hate for 4 months are Jamie, Paullee, and the entire BC from what I understand because I said they were weak for making their best player ban his main character.
So no Brent, I was never friends with the Mount Vernon crew (which is Jamie and Paul right?). I merely act casual, calm and collected around them…Yet sometimes I too can reach a boiling point where I don’t want to be around that person any more.
So what you’re saying is over your pride at ur awesome SF4 skillz and interweb postings that you guys would actually fight people? 
I respect others homes and I will at Keith’s if you’ve gotta beef then come over and we’ll settle it via some ST or any game but if you gotta resort to physical violence over a fucking video game, be ready to deal with the consequences.
