Sad to see my two Dominican brothers leave the league, you guys were really cool and I always enjoyed playing the both of you. Flashfan man! our levels grew together and I remember going at it when i first started the league. Going to be sad seeing you guys go. You were one of the first blankas that could always kick my ass in vanilla, and forced me to really create strategies vs. blanka. Probably why I do alright versus blanka now.
Hmm, this week is extremely interesting for me. Cuby is one of the only people in the league who has managed to beat me and give me a hell of a lot of trouble. In grand finals of the 2vs2 tournament I managed to beat his ken, but I still lost 2-1. Even though an extremely short time has past since the 2vs2 tourney; I am a completely different player now, so I’m excited to see how this is going to turn out.
Somebody may be nervous or worried about this turn of events, but I on the contrary am excited and happy to once again be challenged by a high level player, forcing me to fight to the best of my abilities. No offense to the league, but the thrill of a good battle is what is most important to me; the grand champion title comes second. I wouldn’t be happy always winning all the time. I believe losing makes good players even better! And may make salty players worse, due to their rage clouding their judgement.
That is a strong challenge from CUBY, whose Ken is coming from the Bronze Division. Epedemicc’s Gouken is also being challenged bY your other fighter, Dhalsim, for the #1 Contender ranking in the Gold Division, so it is possible to lose & win the title with two different fighters this week. Two Prize Matches for the top two spots in the league always makes for good fun!
Unfortunatly for deltron there is no argument when the other party provides video proof of the incident so yo aint got an icecubes chance in hell there.
But on the other hand as deltron said he has no reason to lie.
Shame to see 2 top league players leave or get baned over something so stupid. What i fear now is the floodgates have been opened on this happening again so make sure you save your replays guys.
And to sal i think in deltrons case you should have maybe moved him to the waiting list as i think a ban to someone who has always contributed to the league in a positive way deserves a little benefit of the doubt and a ban seems abit exessive.
To deltron and flash hope you guys get back in somehow had a couple opf good gmes with flash but never got the chance to face deltron hope to in the future good luck guys yoawa!!!
I really want everyone to move on, as this is the first time in the 4 times this has ever come up for discussion. I agree that it doesn’t make sense for DELTRON to lie about that specific fight, but his comments in combination with the videos prove otherwise. This league works on an Honor System, even with the addition of replays available now. If a member is found to be lying, who would want to play him? Why make the time to play somone who will then dispute the outcome? Also, if a member were allowed to remain in the league after an incident like this, that member is now compromised b/c if another member lies about a match, Deltron will automatically be seen as the guilty member b/c of this incident. Other members could try to take advantage of this incident to their advantage, and that wouldn’t be fair to Deltron or any other member. At the same time, senior members of this league should not feel that their word is more respected than a new member’s word, otherwise, why would anybody join the league if they feel the can be pushed around or defamed by a veteran member of the league? This goes back to everyone being on the same level, no matter if you are new or old to the league. We all must abide by the Honor System for this league to be successful.
The league has over 2,000 mathes over it’s 22-month history with only 4 being in dispute. That’s a .2% this happens. I like to think that is b/c of the harsh penatly for being dishonest. I loved Flashfan and Deltron being part of the league, and I hated to make the ruling. But it had to be done for the betterment of the league. However, this should have never happened to begin with.
SF4 doesn’t use rollback. GGPO uses rollback and HDremix uses a similar Rollback system. Capcom has stated that the 3D modeling aspect made it to expensive resource wise (AKA too much processing power) to use for SF4. So they use an input delay or kind of slowdown method. Just FYI.
Sal if i willingly forfeit my bison match due to me wanting to change character will i lose my 100% fight record. If so nevermind i will play y match first but after that i wonna swap to bison to cody.

You have to record them yourself and then upload them to YouTube. From there, I can post them on the SFCCL site. To record yourself, you need to use a digital camera & record the TV, or use a video catpure system (Dazzle, Easycap like I use).

Not playing will impact your Match Completion record. However, that completion record is character specific, so if you forfeit your last match with Bison & then switch to Cody, only your Cody will show up in the Database with a ‘n/a’ as a percentage since it is the first week with Cody.
