please do not make an official announcement SA. There is no need any of the drama to continue. I am allowed to explain my side of the story and all the evidence points to the fact that i was a liar and that’s alright because i can’t prove otherwise but i know what really happened. Kitori, I never wanted YOU to get banned. I was completely fine with you taking the win and me still staying in the league but of course we both posted different results and i came out leaving. All i did was post twice on the incident and to you i “tarnished” your name, so for that i am sorry if you felt that way.

From the bottom of my heart i apologize to the Junglee and SALonghorn for my absence and ill give my explanation in this post. As of the day i requested my comeback i had access to a ps3 which was my brothers which i had used when he first got it. So as of that time i had fully intended to fulfill my obligations as a member of the league but…
My brother and sister decided of themselves to parental lock the ps3 so i wouldnt be able to play. As there brother i was shocked they would be so selfish especially since i never said anything when they used mine. I carried along hoping they would mature enough to see there selfishness but it never happened. As a result i had no ability to contact my opponents thus im posting this now. I deeply apologize I never thought family would be like this but am grateful i was welcomed back with open arms. Yes I will once again be resigning until i get a ps3 that’s completely mine, I hope that I will receive the same welcome then. I pay for my own college and work and go to school so $300 isn’t something i can get any day. I will stick around looking how the season unfolds thanks again SAL
No problem man. I need a lot more practice. I was also thinking the lesser categories would have more opponents that were more my caliber. I can only imagine what the other category opponents are like. Yikes. On a different note I found the software for my capture card so I should now be able to start recording my matches and uploading them.

yo sal i havent been able to fight my match with ken at all. i seen wild x 187 one time since i requested him and it was for a brief monent. i messaged and asked him at what time he will be able to fight but he hasnt responded. just thought i should let you know
Glad to hear from you ND2130. Didn’t know what had happened to you. I will let your opponent know and drop you from the league. You’er welcome back anytime and hopefully you can get you own PS3 by season’s end to play in the Super Brawl tournament. Good luck, my friend!
The lower divisions do have some of our lesser skilled members, those that have been in the league a while. Any new members are still finding their way in the league, so you never know how good they are until you play them.
Since CHIDORIDILLON hasn’t played either of his mathes this week, he forfeits both.
Per league rules, if a match is unplayed between two players that have played their other match, the match is declared a “draw” and rematched the following week.
Damn Deltron not in the league anymore? I was hoping you guys found a way to resolve this without anyone being out of the league. At least moved on from it.

I just read most of it. Just FYI, I’ve been playing my friend before whom I always have a bad connection, and it disconnected on his end, but on my end it looked like he just stood there and let me win. It even let me KO but then gave me a disconnect message before it saved. That sounds kind of like what happened here. But, there’s no way to tell. The only difference is that my friend was disconnected the whole time, but in this case it seems Kitori continued the fight and saved it. It still looked like Rufus was playing till the end though. Weird indeed. It is possible they are both telling the truth. But very improbable.
I’ll address it for the last time (hopefully) in the weekly blog (still working on it…), but Deltron was banned. Only the 4th time in league history that someone was banned for not biding by the Honor System. I sent a private message to both Deltron & Kitori addressing the matter in detail.
The Honor System was all we had in the first season of the league, until SSF4 gave us the option to save replays. But even that isn’t a perfect system. In the end, ask yourself this - would you want to play someone that would claim to have won when they didn’t? We are all here to have fun, but an incident like this sucks all the life out of it. For the league, it is necessary.
Well i was waiting to hear the fate of deltron from your own mouth (so to speak), but if Deltron is banned than i will be also riding off into the sunset. I came into this league with him, and like the saying goes, “No brother left behind” so i will be off with my bro. I am honestly very surprise that deltron is being banned. He has been a honest member for over a year in the league and all of a sudden he wants to start lying about his losses, especially when he has had a lot worst losses in league history. (he lost to ultimatecloud for a title shot, and lost at the FINALS (at least final four) of super brawl if i am not mistaken, but NOW all of a sudden he wants to lie about a way lower division fighter that he himself dropped to the bottem of the league??! In addition i have had similair occurences as SBL explained above where in my screen i see something and on the other person screen there is something else going on. I know the evidence is STACKED against deltron but i don’t believe everything i see (cris angel supposely can float/ fly yea ok). I agree with your final statement SAL “In the end, ask yourself this - would you want to play someone that would claim to have won when they didn’t? We are all here to have fun, but an incident like this sucks all the life out of it” Both me and deltron agree that is league is for fun so why would he lie? When we have been having fun for over a year??? It saddens me that being here over a year of being dediated member gains you no crediablity whatsoever. Having said this i want to thanks SAL for EVERYTHING he has done, i have never had this much fun playing street fighter and it is all thanks to you and your league so really thank you for the chance to partake in this amazing league i will miss it and ALL of its members. I won some, i lost more but i enjoyed them all, thank you members of the league, and thank you SAL yet again. 1 last time YAOWHA!!!
Sad to read the above post, FLASHFAN, but I respect it. And feared it. However, I would probably do the same in your position.
Thanx for the kinds words always about the league, and I hope the overall experience was great for you and your brother. It was a decision I didn’t want to make, but had to.
I watched the video and if what you guys are saying is true where a disconnect is happening but the server continues the fight independently on each Native ps3. It might be possible to see if this is the case by putting on the input display.
This is my theory as deltron was saying kitori only was pressing HP near the end of the fight and in the replay looks like deltron was only pressing downback on a jump-in. What might of happen was only the last input before the disconnect was bein repeatedly sent from the server. If this is the case with input display on for the replay you should theoretically only see deltron hit one directional input and if he truly was disconnected his input display will not match up with how he would interact with kitoris string of offense.
This is only a theory but worth exploring.
Sal thanks for the motw spotlight but as mentioned I might not be able to play my games this week due to being overseas again for work.
Just to add my two cents which I know have no worth, lol, as well as I dont know either player but this happens alot more than people think. I have had many matches where it looked liked I won only to finish the match and find myself in the loser position. Sure many times if someone quits it will show player disconnected but again many times it will finish the match and then viola you are like what happened. Basically there is a major delay with rollbacks which causes the match to continue on because in theory neither play quit. Also this explains why when it does happen it looks like the other player is doing something because random moves are coming out. Since majority of the cast have roll type motion moves (fireball, dragon punch) it would be easy to see a move come out in an awkward scenario or situation and wonder why did they just do that.
The best all of us can do, to remedy this is what SAL has already stated. Both players should record their matches. And then that way SAL doesnt have to be so black and white with his decision on how to handle the situation.
Oh yeah, forgot about that. Too bad…it would have been a good match. What dates are you out?
