Hey guys, I just wanna say as someone who was brought into A2 with this whole “RSX teaches people A2” deal, keep it up! Getting into Alpha 2 was one of the best things I’ve done in a long time, even though I haven’t been able to play lately due to a broken stick and my current inability to play on pad after quitting. I intend to get that situation fixed up and back into the A2 room soon, so keep bringing that A2 knowledge!

I would put birdie higher than dan… maybe? What does dan have on birdie? I mean, Birdie is unsafe as hell, but out of his usable stuff, I think it may be better than Dan’s stuff.

I think Adon is seriously underrated too. Aren’t most of his specials safe? (I might be remembering A1 here I dunno). I don’t know Adon much, but what I do know is pretty kickass.

Can’t say much for Birdie vs. Dan, but Adon’s specials definitely aren’t safe. His kick DP is pretty good, but the rest can be punished pretty hard. His normals are fairly good though. I find Adon is the character I enjoy the most, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say he’s under-rated.

Birdie is lower than dan because once you know the match up birdies options become extremely limited. His main way of dealing damage is throws and ccs. His normals on the ground are very slow with the exception of c.hp, so upclose to birdie he can get owned pretty bad. Birdie can get people off by mashinf c.hp which is very effective until they have meter, cause c.hp hit or blocked can be hit back with a cc. Only things birdie has going for him is cc, good jump arc, multiple aas. Chun murders Birdie bad. As for Adon, none of his specials are safe. Jag kick blocked or hit is a free ccs or hit for your opponent, Jag tooth is a free cc cause he jumps to the wall first, all you have to do is activate when he is coming down regardless of where he lands.

I completely forgot how to use Chun since I’ve been playing Sagat so much. How is the Rose matchup for her? I just got bum fucked by a Rose and it pissed me off so much I just quit, haha. If you’re out there, sorry bud.:stuck_out_tongue:

My main problem is that I can’t approach Rose at all, I can’t try to zone her, I can’t do anything really. I might start playing Rose just to see how to beat her.

Rose match up is 5:5, but I put it more at 6:4 in Chuns favor. Chun only has to worry about c.mp and soul Illusion (in which Chun can just run away). Chun can jump on Rose which is a pain, and rose’s ac follow up (c.mp xx lk drill) doesnt combo, Chun can block or ac the drill.

SO I was watching some Zero2 alpha matches on Mikado, and I’m wondering what’s the difference from normal zero2 to zero2 aplpha?

Odd there used to be an FAQ at GameFAQs showing the differences between Z2 and Z2A, but it’s not there anymore…

CC, character properties, acs were changed. it had more glitche also.

What can I do vs. Ken/Akuma roll nonsense. I get knocked down, he rolls behind me, then he rolls to the other side right after and I get hit because I just can’t tell which side to block. Shit is aggravating.

just get a little faster on your reaction i guess and block. do not do anything else but block. i know what player youre referring to…

just quick roll after getting hit to avoid it all together

how is what the wiki has for chun right now? i honestly feel like it got me started on playing chun pretty well, but how is it really?
