SF5 Lounge: Idom Wins. Only Poison is Woman enough for Capcom Cup

If you did get it, what system would you get it on?

I hope not, but PR isn’t Capcom’s forte.

They really should release at least 2 per day if they’re on that nonsense.

I just hope tomorrow isn’t Chun’s turn.

Depends on the playerbase. I liked the game quite a bit. Only thing that doesn’t seem remotely enjoyable is playing against the broad with the paint brush.

probably PS4 so I can play it with SRKers tbh.

I mess with it. Very fun game. Definitely a great entry level game if you want to get non-fighting game players into fighting games, then start introducing them to the higher tier fighters.

The devs announced yesterday that Fantasy Strike will now have full crossplay with PS4, Switch and PC thanks to Sony finally opening the gates.

What the fuck Capcom. Fuck!!!

Akuma in this game has to be about the same level of brainless as Rashid. There’s literally nothing that shit ass character doesn’t do.

I’m so tired of SFV.

When you’ve played SF5 for 5 seasons with Ryu and Sagat, simply not getting nerfed is the primary goal.

Is crossplay okay with you guys for SF6?

Capcom owes the world a Q&A with Woshige where we get to ask him just want in the fuck was he thinking with any of this.

I know I harp on this but the idea that they made things this way on purpose leaves me speechless at times.

And yet for all the crap people talk about the shit on this game, they keep coming back to it like a beaten wife, lol

Crossplay is a great thing for any game. I sure hope it’s a standard feature for fighting games moving forward. The main thing is whether Capcom can implement it properly next time :frowning:

As long as there are options that you cant turn off on consoles that hinder the performance when compared to pc, dont count on it.

So let me get this straight, BBtag 2.0 characters are free for the deluxe edition?
Set aside how weird it is that I am now wired to take for granted that I have to pay for this kind of stuff, wasn’t there an absolute shit storm on how terrible the DLC model for the game was on launch?

They could make his normals like in SF3 though, fire or ice (depending on what side)…

Of course there was a shitstorm.
People now days jump into conclussions without really checking if the info they are getting is correct ot not, of the info they have is complete.

Mirroring 3D models on side switch only started being a thing with SF4. SFEX was released in 1996 and had perspective-correct modelling, such that shotos would DP with their back to you (as usual) on 1P side but with their chest to you on 2P side. It’s not a problem… or at least, not any more of a problem than hit/hurtboxes are in any other game (including the 2D CPS2 games).

Personally, I think it’s appropriate that Gill was the first (canon) 2D SF character that had different sprites for 1P and 2P side, and now he’s the first (canon) 3D SF character that has a perspective-correct model.

I think that was the idea behind the design. It’s a homage to Gill’s history and very elegant.

I also don’t mind the view, the guy has a titillating posterior.

His ass is flat as hell

The thing I find dumb is that if you want to play as him his stance doesn’t allow you to see his face, so the only thing that you’re going to be drawn to watch is his ass. But I kinda get why they did this… they want you to see him when you fight him as a boss, on the player 2 side.
