Tekken has been simplifying and trying to attract casuals since 6.
How quickly we forget all the salt at rage. There was a vid circulating of a paul player making a comeback with 2 rage enhanced deathfist.
Similarly with the tracking moves and bound making it easier to combo people.

I want an FG that says it’s simplifying itself for beginners but doesn’t actually do anything different.
Not like casuals would notice, and might even dupe a few into gittin gud.
What worries me the most about Ken’s new V skill is how good of a anti fireball move it will be. The range looks good and the start up doesn’t seem bad at all(uncharged). So could he stand at mid range like Rashid or Rog and just hit two buttons when he sees the start up of a fireball?
Now that I think about it, can Ryu also do the same thing or is his limited to only physical attacks? It’s bad enough dealing with characters like Birdie and Rashid who can anti fireball so easily. But if other shoto’s can do it to? RIP Kage, that red fireball is going to be so ass in S5 if even Ryu and Ken can get around it lol.

There’s Tekken simplifying where the core gameplay isn’t neutered and overall better from the changes, then there’s whatever the fuck happened to SFV and potentially GG2020.

SFIV being beginner friendly was the highest order of bs.

Yea but he’s saying it has xrd stuff too, add this to the feedback the devs are getting plus they still have time to change a couple of things and you can’t deny the game has potential.

The thing is kira is mixing datamine with gaming forum rumor and speculation.
I give kira a benefit of a doubt this time for the last character to be Seth because it was datamine.
