I really think you just haven’t played enough ranked.
I suck. Highest I’ve reached is Silver, but I’ve probably made 10 different accounts to climb up the ranks, making it to at least UB, with whatever character that account was for.
Rookies and Bronzes are cake walks. Like I win so easily that I feel bad. Our matches are never that lopsided. You’ve beaten me plenty of times as well.

And that’s what pisses me off the most. When I play against you guys, I play a lot better than when I play scrubs. It’s like they make me dumber by osmosis.
I got a plan though. I’ll break out the Vega. If I can beat @FlyingVe in Randoms with him, I can beat anyone. Surely nothing will go wrong.

The thing is, is that everyone on this forum (including you) plays like a levelheaded person, even the Ken mains.
The randoms, especially in those ranks, are mostly lunatics. You can’t try to understand their logic because there isn’t any.
The easiest thing you can do is let them jump in on you and AA the fuck out of them (and by that I don’t mean throwing predictable fireballs at dangerous ranges). As long as you keep your cool, and maintain a bit of a threat (being closer than they’re comfortable with, or their backs are in the corner, etc), they’ll panic and jump at you.
Walk them down, walk in an out, poke them with your best long range button that isn’t too slow (typically s.MK). If it hits, you’re likely plus, and press it again (you’ll be surprised how many counter hits you start getting), and if it’s blocked, you likely lost your turn so don’t press it again.
If they keep blocking, dash in and throw.

Sagats problem for me is that my local scene is mostly bad matches. Rashid, Dhalsim, boxer , Nash.
So I’m hitting the same road blocks and I can’t get over them.

Was definitely better than Pertho’s for sure. It got a bit wack whenever you were on the offense pressing loads of buttons, but besides that, it wasn’t so bad. You could play legit neutral.

Ok, I’m in the UK - I’m shite at SFV (though I never play ranked, I’m an anxious bastard, and within one match my hands are shaking), but was half-good at SFIV, ok at 2. If you ever want to try a few games in a battle lounge to get a few bullshit nonsense and calm fights going to work on stuff, lemme know.
