Alex Lariat is +8 on regular hit now. At least FAT said it was +7.
So now with VT2, Alex can do j.hk, lariat, cr.mp xx VT2 DDT.

Cody’s vskill 2 cancels into super, specials, knocks down into meaty fireball setups via cancel, combos out of fHK, punishable on block. Knife normals seem improved hitbox wise, and the vtrigger meter wears down slower it seems. Could be wrong, been a while since I played.
Abigail’s tire vskill startup is sloowwwwwwwwwwww… BUT it comes out no matter what even if he’s hit out of it. Different normals make it bounce. Could be decent for closing distance like a bigger, slower startup birdie can. Unaffected by fireballs just from only testing vs Ryu.
Laura’s new vskill is probably gonna cause lots of rage when people get some setups going. It seems very good. Kick portion of vskill is plus on block, comboable to jab on hit.
So Sakura can now do stlp into extatsu and combo her DFHK into stlp stlk mpdp or stlp into extatsu for better corner carry and her STHP can combo into her VS2. Poison I think only got an overhead from exflip kick but its -4 on block now when it used to be -2. Poison’s VS2 seems to be really good as well, can cover alot of ground quick with it.
Cammy’s VS2 makes her move back. She can cancel into it from normals, but barbecue of the distance she’ll just whiff the move.
She has to do st.hp xx VS2 as a combo. Actually she can only combo into it from single hit st.mp, single hit st.mp, target combo in the corner only and… that’s it.
She has to land 6 of them to fill up one v-meter bar.
I mean…I guess that’s better than VS1 but who the hell knows. She doesn’t even get a worthwhile meaty after it. Only thing that reaches after a dash in is cr.hp. If they are buttonsy you can do st.hp to hit their wake up jab and link an hk spiral arrow afterwards.

Lucia’s V-System in general is kinda underwhelming, hoping this new v skill is decent.

I haven’t found anything mix up wise with Juri’s vskill 2 that doesn’t involve a CC sweep yet. However, vskill 2 functions more like an extra LK fireball, which isn’t that bad honestly. It can even act as a combo extender in some situations. In the end, it might be more versatile than her vskill 1 in most match ups.
Also, after a corner combo, it leads to an easy meaty that leaves her +8 normal rise, and +13 on back rise.
The EX fireball buff is nice. It’s nothing huge, but it gives her another Vtrigger cancel without a store.
Haven’t messed with it but they buffed V-Trigger 1. Fireballs takes less gauge during V-Trigger
