Format: What I meant by single player 2vs2, is Mi-Ka-Do style format. If you haven’t seen this before…basically, 1 player controls 2 characters. Just like if it were a team tournament. To make things less confusing, we won’t do the real Mi-Ka-Do style, we’ll just use 2 characters in elimination style. Trust me, it will save a lot of explanation.
e.g. : Chun + Viper vs Akuma + Ken
Chun vs Akuma - Chun wins
Chun vs Ken - Ken wins
Viper vs Ken - Ken wins
Player with team Akuma + Ken advances.

Rules:

You must choose both of your characters before the tournament.

You must stick with the same order you registered as, throughout the tournament.

If the game is laggy, both connections will be tested with the TD. If there is no lag when tested, but the lag persists in game…a coin will be flipped. Fuck it, it’s online lol.

Double Elimination, single game format.

If there happens to be a double KO at the very last round of both players’ final characters, re-do the match using the final 2 characters that were played.

DQ’s will be handed out 5 minutes after, if time isn’t requested. Additional 5 minutes will be given if you request it. Sorry, but just trying to get people to sleep on the EC on time.

No same character can be used. For example, no Sagat/Sagat teams.
Winner gets: Nothing really, just some more experience than the other contestants. It’s online, so not really any bragging rights

Let’s get some good matches on here. Really looking forward to playing good players, really tired of that CE mode bullshit. Here, we can all come together and level up, at least much better than we would do otherwise online. Haven’t been able to catch many players at a good time when I log on PSN.
