hahahah yeah i was right next to the arcade machine playin sf4 most of the night, which is exactly where i thought i heard your name. i was too busy getting beasted on by BBH and Ray to check out the ST fights goin on(id probly get handled anyway not my best game) but yeah maybe next time we can meet up and get some games in or somthin.

Fun times last night, ST was mad hype and the Bison vs. Rufus session I had with Sam Y was too intense.
Hey that was a blast Thursday night. I got to meet a ton of people and play lots of whatever that game is where you throw fireballs at each other and yell DOOKEN.

I hope everyone’s had a wonderful time the past two weeks at the Random Select Tournament, private sessions, online sessions, and at Versis
I should be back in town next week on Thursday (the 11th) and I’ll be looking forward to more games and good times That said, I will be recovering from some long flights too, so we’ll see how long I can endure.

Good to hear from you man, I have been crazy busy with music for the last two weeks and couldn’t make it out at all. I am sooo looking forward to coming out next week, I got some cash flow and some desire to fight, plus it seems like when i take two weeks downtime i come back stronger so we will see if that happens for me this time. I was really looking forward to tonight, but unfortunately I won’t be able to partake this evening. However, I will be leaving a couple arcade sticks and PS3 SF4 in the store for use during the fight night.
Really sorry about that guys, was looking forward to it a lot.
Side Note: On my way back from Thailand, I had to stop by LA for an evening and a morning and LA Akira was awesome enough to let me stay at his place and drive me around. He’s always an awesome guy. We had a great VF5 session after weeks away from the game for both of us.
Also, I found out he sold his old arcade style cabinet (for consoles/PC and two Bravia screens and swappable panels for arcade sticks) to none other than Jason Cole. Pretty cool rig that I’ve played on long time ago. He trusts Mr. Cole will pay the rest for the cabinet, but those two guys go back a long way so I’m sure everything should be okay.
Anyways… LA Akira’s new cabinet is freaking awesome. The cabinet’s black, the screens are huge (somewhere in the 40s), the speakers loud and directed at both players, and he’s added ports so people can plug in their own controllers. Wired should write another article on this cabinet!

So glad this term is almost over. Holy crap it’ll be nice to be out of classes for the summer.
Sadly… I’m writing (BSing) my last paper of the term today. Next week is finals week. Still, I’m gonna try and make it out to Versis in the near future and cause a shock when people see that I’m actually a real person instead of some mysterious internet figure who has no face. :lol:

I forgot that because of a weird string of events this morning, I ended up not bringing the extra arcade sticks and the PS3 SF4 copy.
So at Versis we just have the 360 copy of SF4 and one arcade stick for 360 and one arcade stick for PS3 today.

Woot! My previous obligations on Thursdays have disappeared, til fall, at least, so I’ll be making it out every chance I get, which should be every week. Hope to see more peeps there, last Thursday was a little sad. ;D But perhaps it’s a bit unfair to compare to the only other time I was there a few months ago, when there was twenty odd peeps at least.
Ah, gettin’ fuckin’ hyped about being able to practice for realz. XD
