I just have a soft-modded US Wii. No promises I make it out this week just yet, but I’ll pack up my Wii with TvC when I do head out. Only thing is… my custom stick is still incomplete… and I only have one Cube JoyBox adapter for PS2 sticks. So it’d be for the best all around if a pair of PS2 sticks and a second adapter could be scrounged up. Otherwise, we’re looking at a Classic Controller and a PS2 Dualshock. Game’s still good that way… but not all it can be.

You guys go hella late. Damn. Public transit stops at like… midnight for getting to and from Vancouver. I need to make it out there, but I’d be there for such a small fraction of the night.
I guess a small fraction is better than nothing at all. I’ll see if I can bust out some awesomeness next week.

Hell yeah that was fun, glad I could finally make it out there. Sagatmania was indeed pretty silly but hella entertaining.

You live in Vancouver right? Depending on where in Vancouver you live I can give you a ride. But the times that I went they played until around 3-5 am.
That would be most epic, but I’m on the Hazel Dell side of town. Being out hella late doesn’t bug me… it’s just the logistics of it (ie, no public transit) that pose a problem.
I think it’s kind of funny that Sam Y and I realized how late it was when we saw the Max was back up and running with people on it (and we hadn’t finished the Fight Night yet).
Planned on going out there this week, but had an 8-hour overnight shift at work come up and I needed the hours.
MAX starts back up again out there at around 4 AM; these sessions usually run that late?
They don’t always run that late, but the last 3 have gone 4am, 4am, 5am.
Transportation can be tricky, but we try to have all transportation issues sorted before 11pm so nobody gets stranded and anyone who isn’t able to get a drive from someone can get onto the public transport if needed (hasn’t happened yet, but it is inevitable I think).
I can’t promise that all Fight Nights will go this late, however. But everyone will generally know by 9pm if it’s going to be a late one, or if it’s going to end “on time” (10pm or 11pm).
I want to make sure everyone’s having a great time though, of course Mackinzie’s also been instrumental in helping us let these events go a long time, some of the time.
BTW, I should say I am glad that everyone who has gone to these has been really good about cleaning up after themselves whenever it has gone really late. The staff greatly appreciates it.
