I can’t give you a 100% no answer but how about 99%? If you’re just messing with skins it’s a visual change and doesn’t affect gameplay or online play at all. Capcom seems to have given unofficial approval as well. It helps sell more games after all.
Where is a release of dev tools? If they are so for community involvement, they should at least give us tools to help deal with models and such. (I doubt they will. People will make way better everything then they will ever release in the future.)
Capcom is not really a pc dev… dont expect any tools lol ;)! Maybe a patch and i m not even sure if they will bother :)! Still love them for releasing this on pc :)!
Like you said, releasing tools would just give them unfair competition for their dlc… mind you i bought it, i like having a select option to get even more mods into the game… more custom skins :)!
Agreed but they are more “passive” about it than they are “proactive”. I’m just glad we aren’t getting in trouble but I’d LOVE some Dev Tools…but I wont hold my breath. It’s Capcom afterall :razzy:

While checking out a Balrog and Seth skin, I frogot to back up the original file for their 2nd skin. Would anyone be willing to upload Seth’s original second color (called BOS_01_02.col.emz) as well as Balrog’s (called BSN_01_02.col.emz)?

THAT WAS DIRTY what kotaku and fileplanet did…i think someone whos knows how to hack to knock their site down for a couple days or mess up there version of our stuff (copied and pasted)

It would have been nice to get a link to the wiki or at least this thread, but I guess this isn’t the first/worst case of plagiarism in the history of the internet.

Same to me. I don’t think I’m going to see my comment too. And the most interesting of all is that my message was very polite.
That is pretty ridiculous. Why would they host the skins on THEIR server if there is a page specifically for that, that we are making and maintaining. It doesn’t matter if they gave us credit. Why did they feel the need to rehost it.
I think fileplanet’s whole deal is pretty much making people look at ads while they download stuff from their servers. So, they ‘borrow’ our content and mirror it for ad revenue. It’s not particularly cool of them to do, but at least we don’t have any ads up. I’d really be pissed if we did…
As for kotaku, they’re always linking to the wrong shit. A day late and a dollar short every time.

They didn’t mention ME! Lol Kinda glad for that… I can’t go anywhere without someone asking for advice, info, bugging me in general(though most of you are really cool and just get stuck on minor things.) I’m actually very surprised with the number of modders. I consider modding for this game pretty annoying, hasn’t stopped people from flooding the page with skins.
